The Siege of Exeter was an early conflict during the Norman Conquest of England that saw the newly-minted King William the Conqueror face a rebellion in the south-west of England, a rising headed by none other than Gytha, the vengeful mother of the defeated King Harold himself.

Learning about the Normal Conquest from Medieval II is what got me interested in history, but I learned a ton of new information from this video. I was rooting for Gytha (even though we already knew she would be defeated of course). I commend you on your research for this production, it isn't as easy as it looks to synthesize a ton of information and put it into a 12 minute video. The audio and video quality were also good. I hope to see this channel grow more and more, and I'm pleased to see you are still making videos despite the fact that people haven't realized what they're missing yet :). I'd say don't be afraid to promote yourself. Be shameless about leaving comments on larger channel's videos as they come out, if you're tactful about it the worst that can happen is nobody clicks...but if enough people see your comment many will find your channel that way, also posting to a bunch of sub-Reddits and youtube channel discord servers helped. Just a few people clicking on your video can sometimes cause a sort of snowball effect where it gets recommended more. Anyway, thanks for making this, and I'm off to binge the rest of your videos!
