I was just about to comment on how marvelous Kevin's models are. I am blown away at not only the colors, but how the figures are positioned: bowmen about to launch their arrows, figures in the act of running with arms raised while hoisting their swords. These models recreating battles or camps along with Kevin's commentary really make his videos come alive and are much more apt to hold my attention than a documentary using paintings or crude illustrations from the time with a droning voice. 👏

How is it possible that you, and perhaps a small team of yours are capable of producing better historical documentaries than whatever the flip the TV history channels are producing nowadays. I would even say that your models along with your captivating commentary help me visualise the history better than many historical docuseries with enermous funding and alot of actors. Cheers and best of luck to you from Czech Republic.

I love these models and how they show what they scene looked like. I can't imagine what the actual event was like to participate in. The sight, sounds, and even the smells of the lines and camps. Marching on a castle must've been one hell of a sight. Even the logistics had to have had a lot of thought put into it. History is so amazing.

Juliet Barker has done a book "Agincourt", The king, The Campaign, The Battle. Which is written in great detail from the planning stage to the Battle. I personally found far too much detail in the run up to the Battle but very little on the Battle of Agincourt itself, which was what I was really looking forward to. Kevin's short and concise episode gave us everything we needed to know without bogging us down with unnecessary facts. Dave.

Finally got home to watch Kev!! Fantastic models and really well told. You packed in so much and kept it really interesting. Some books/accounts bombard you with names of so many people that it is difficult to follow the train of the story. No deviation here and all the names we needed. The French did really well to hold out for so long which sort of put a spanner in Henry's works. The whole campaign was so huge that Henry probably thought he had to press on to make all the enormous preparations worth while! Obviously we know he got away with it in the end but it took a heavy toll!! Can't wait for the next part!! But simply a superb episode Kev!! Top notch!! Dave.

@rebelchaplain1 I will always remember his famous valley campaign. A masterpiece in using defeat by detail to smash the pieces of a numerically superior army by always choosing when and where both of you always fight. Move swiftly, engage the enemy where he is weak, and if you cannot win then you must divide his forces.

Must have been pretty awful!! 🤢🤢🤢. Dave.

Amazing video and model. I had no idea there were firearms of any kind during this campaign. Those early bombard style cannons must have been state-of-the-art. Having built and collected firearms myself, I can tell you that I don’t know that I’d have the courage to stand by and help man on of those. Those look as if they could be properly dangerous to the operators. Great models! I build 1:35 WW2 models and the work put into these sets are incredible. It really helps people like myself visualize the weaponry and composition. I’d love to see more models. I feel I have a decent understanding of early medieval gear (1066 era) but I really have a hard time distinguishing between 1200’s, 1300’s and 1400’s. That’s what models really do a good job of and it would be great to see your collection grow for demonstrations.

Cheers Rich, I'm planning on making it bigger because it's a smaller scale the 28mm figures, though no one's commented as yet. 😜

Well done Kevin! I have always said that you are the best storyteller, but I must say that your skill as a model maker is also top notch! Great film!

The battle field, troops are beautifully done, castle Kevin. It really brings the battle to life along with your brilliant narration (as usual ❤). You look great. Very smart! You mentioned dysentery. A horrible way to die.
