Why’d you put quotes around antagonist? According to the literary definition of the word she IS the antagonist, as she is trying to keep the status quo and is opposing the protagonists
@alcambio89234 жыл бұрын
@@DeathnoteBB But she isn't trying to keep the status quo. And even more, since when that's a requirement for being an antagonist?
@jrgenm.dsollie48494 жыл бұрын
@@alcambio8923 An antagonist is a character whose goal is in conflict with the main character. Britta is trying to enact change, while Abed is trying to remain inert. Troy is just a bi-protagonist, as he is not activly changing the main plot, but the plot is based on him.
@andydyer65913 жыл бұрын
In-game she’s the antagonist (or the Dragon, in TVTropes terms) because she joins the main villain (Hickey) in response to being left for dead by her friends. Out-of-game, she’s just tired of pussyfooting around their childishness and is going in with some tough love to get them to grow up and face their feelings. It made her the bad guy to them temporarily because they don’t want to, but she was absolutely right to do it; it was only when Troy and Abed were cornered that Abed opened up about how much Troy leaving was distressing him.
