My mum works for a council down here in Aus, and she's on the front desk. I would show her this video, but I guarantee you she would not laugh. That Sun Tea Lady? 100% true representation. That guy who wants electric hand dryers? I guarantee you he'd start a year-long campaign, get local media, one of the idiot councilors, and several thousand other vocal morons on board, obtain a rate variation, and then promptly disappear from public view once the council spends a ton of money wiring up all the dunnies with hand dryers and they get broken after two weeks.

I was a receptionist for a museum as an undergrad and an older man called me asking to be transferred to speak to some man. I had never heard of the man the caller was requesting, so I told the caller that no one worked here by that name. I googled the name of the man he was asking for and told the caller that it appeared they worked at a different museum. The caller yelled at me, called me stupid, told me he was frustrated that someone so incompetent was working at the museum. I told him I couldn’t transfer him because there was no one there to transfer him to. He angrily hung on me, calling me stupid again. He called back three minutes later in a kind tone, without apologizing, and said he had gotten the man’s name wrong. He told me the new name, which was an actual employee, and I transferred him immediately. He had read a book coauthored by two professors and wanted to ask them a question. He had called the wrong museum about the wrong name. All of his screaming at me was so he could ask a generic question he could have googled.

This kind of comedy is one of my favorite aspects of Parks that I find so hilarious. Now that this compilation exists I’m gonna send this to people when I try to convince them to watch the show if they haven’t already 😂😂😂

This show and The Office should make a crossover. I’d love to see multiple rare-pairs they would have. April with Dwight, Jim with Chris, Donna with Andy (Bernard), Ann with Pam (that’d probably be the best, since both actresses have been in The Office together), Jerry/Terry/Larry/Gary with Phyllis, RON WITH DWIGHT, Kevin with Andy (Dwyre), etc. Even paired in threes, fours, or more.

Andy Dwyer and Michael Scott would be incredible, two childish maniacs who wouldn't get anything productive done. I would love to see April RUIN Ryan, giving him what he deserves
