I want a mech/robot game where combining is an actual game mechanic, it would be so cool

LegendaryBricktures For such a mechanic to be viable, it has to have a large tradeoff. I could imagine a team-based, fast paced shooter were you combine to press certain advantages or defend a certain kind of attack. Something along the lines of Awesomenauts, with that mechanic as strategic element. The difficulty would be to give all players involved in the combination meaningful and fun controls.

Sometimes i don't understand PGI, you can get leg damage for running into a mech but no damage if you land a several ton mech on top of another mech

It mainly boils down to hitbox issues. In the MWO Beta they had the mechanic from MW4 of knocking over mechs, and the massive explosions of their fusion engines destroying everything around them. Unfortunately to even make a playable game, those articles, as well as the C-Bill repair fee for mechs, had to be removed for the game to be even remotely fair. If you didnt have enough to repair, then you launched into a match with a damaged mech, possibly even missing weapons.
