TURKISH AIRLINES A340-311 TC-JDM OSAKA (KIX) - ISTANBUL
OCTOBER 30, 1998
On my way to Bulgaria to film AN-24 and (!) IL-18 the last time, I boarded this long flight onboard Turkish Airlines A340-311 TC-JDM from Osaka (KIX) to Istanbul. This video features a flight with cockpit footage of take off in Kansai and night landing in Istanbul.
This video is the first video recorded with my new Sony camera TRV-900 using mini DV tapes after dumping the trash of SHARP camera. See the difference in quality, despite the age of 17 years.
History of Turkish Airlines A340-311 TC-JDM
Airframe 115 was manufactured 1996 and initially registered F-WWJN. This aircraft was delivered to Turkish Airlines, registered TC-JDM and named “Izmir”, April 19, 1996. TC-JDM is reported to be active.

Hahahahaha tc-jdm its also known deli mayk. it means crazy mike because if it want fly it fly but if it doesnt want fly it do not move anywhere. Someones who traveled with deli mike say a person who sitting in 5a push to reading light button then 14c reading light turn on :)) there are many stories like that about deli mike :))

김경민 In the old days, getting invited and even staying in the cockpit for the flight was easy. But after 9/11, things became very strict and aviation changed a lot, It became more safety. Not easy to get in the cockpit.
