The Significance of the Void Heart - Hollow Knight Lore

The Void Heart charm is very significant to many aspects of Hollow Knight's lore and brings about many changes and possibilities once it's acquired. I discuss these as well as how the charm is acquired and why it's acquired the way that it is.

I can imagine if the Pale King even figures out about the Void Heart (which is impossible of course) and give it to the Hollow Knight/Pure Vessel. Will they succeed at subduing the Radiance for good?

maybe, but I think the outcome would be the same since he still had some sort of feeling ya know? like he had emotions on the contrary the hollow knight is just a literal HOLLOW knight

Who knows if that Void Heart really makes you completely hollow, but it gives you the "will", which contrasts that to the Pale King saying that there should be no will for it to break for the vessels. But that heart surely makes you the leader of the void entirely and the Knight will likely have the upper-hand to defeat the Radiance for good with the control of the void, which the Hollow Knight/Pure Vessel lacked. The question is if he ever think of an idea to even face the Radiance head-one of defeat her personally. Surely he did not think of that right, or he already see within that foresight of his that it would not be the case? There are many questions that is left unanswered, only left with speculations by some. The true question is why did he even make a living vessel of void to lock the Radiance in? Did he not just make an inanimate void prison to lock her in? At least the "prison" is a thing. No mind, no will, no voice, just an item.

Void heart simply allows void to take form as a unified mind. It does not create a higher being. The godly focus of the godseekers did that.
