I've never met a cancer patient, that ever stayed home and felt sorry for themselves. One of the daughters here said her father gets out and doesn't just stay home and feel sorry for themselves. I've spent a lot of time in cancer wards, because I am 12 years out after cancer diagnosis. I've never met people that were so courageous and strong as cancer patients. Rather, I've seen cancer patients use all their will to live, to beat cancer. Or, they die with strength and grace, and fight until they just can't anymore. Cancer doesn't make people weak. Cancer brings out the strength in people, like Hulk himself, to fight off cancers across the board of diagnoses.

Well said. A friend of mine made me laugh when she was told she had cancer, two days before she had bought herself a winter coat in the sales, the doctor said you have cancer & her first thought was "Oh I will never get to wear my winter coat!". She certainly did & many winters after that. Her attitude was great her diet was too.

to be clear The is an organ of the digestive system and endocrine system of vertebrates. In humans, it is located in the abdomen behind the stomach and functions as a gland. The pancreas has both an endocrine and a digestive exocrine function. As an endocrine gland, it functions mostly to regulate blood sugar levels, secreting the hormones insulin, glucagon, somatostatin, and pancreatic polypeptide. As a part of the digestive system, it functions as an exocrine gland secreting pancreatic juice into the duodenum through the pancreatic duct. This juice contains bicarbonate, which neutralizes acid entering the duodenum from the stomach; and digestive enzymes, which break down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in food entering the duodenum from the stomach. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancreas

I have never heard a truer statement in my life, my partner died of liver cancer and was always terminal, although he had treatment, and he fought two years and two months and this cannot be beaten by good attitudes and positive vibes, it may help, of course it does. But anyone who is battling or lost a loved one with this disease to say this is a kick in the teeth and very very insulting. My mother passed away from Pancreatic Cancer at aged 66. We were told by the Professor who operated on her that the stats were: 20% pass away during the whipples op due to the fact that the cancer grows onto the main artery which is very close to the pancreas. Another 40% die within a year of diagnoses. Another 39.5% die within 5 years from diagnoses. 0.5% live past 5 years. This is such an evil disease and incredibly painful. Wish it could be eradicated off the face of the earth.

In September of 2008, my Godmother, Sarah, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Three months after her diagnosis, she still had not started her Chemotherapy. I find this shocking, Of course things have improved greatly over since 2008, when it comes to starting treatment, etc, but surely three months after a diagnosis and still no treatment is so wrong, even if it was 2008! Nine months after her diagnosis, she died on June 13, 2009 aged 43. She was my role model growing up and she still is today.

Why advocate for improved screening of this cancer if the treatments don't work well anyway? We should be pouring money into improving treatments, not finding the cancer sooner so they can know they are about to die for a longer period of time. Before people downvote me, my mom has this cancer at stage 2. She told me she is jealous of people who get to die quickly. If we have limited funding, put it towards developing treatments.

All of the videos I watch don't seem to go into details about their symptoms before diagnosis, or what was it that made them seek out their doctor. I mean very early symptoms... I know they all say there were no symptoms - but anyone who knows their own body must have noticed big or slight changes - quarky things going on - whether in their digestive system, or bowel habits and changes, stomach pains. Was there subtle pain, and where WAS it exactly? What did the pain feel like? Anyone's feedback? Because I have a lot of different symptoms but nothing to compare them to, and clinics are closed due to Covid...

@Leilababy89 Thank you for your response. I'm not exactly sure what gall bladder symptoms are, but I can look it up I guess. ...20 years ago our dad died of acute pancreatitis - but we all wonder if he actually had undiagnosed pancreatic cancer. ...He was always the backbone of health in our family. Then at age 72 he started complaining of pains that went thru to his back between his shoulder blades. Long story short he ended up in the hospital & died a month later. They said he had a huge cyst in the pancreas & it was blocking the ducts - we wonder if it was a tumour. We never had an autopsy done so we'll never know.

Bottom line!!! When cancer is detected in parts of the body that the organ that it starts in or at can be DEVASTATING! The smaller organs like the pancreas or prostrate, these are very small organs, but needless to say, when these organs end up getting cancer in them, catching it early is most of the time is to LATE 😥.... neither of these two organs can be replaced/transplanted, and the absolute truth is people cannot live without these organs therefore ""IF"", what a huge word if!! You see, unlike a lot of other organs, actually any type of cancer if not caught ***THE WORD, CATCHING IT EARLY, MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, IF YOU GET A DOCTOR, EVEN THE ONES THAT SPECIALIZES IN THAT SPECIFIC TYPE OF CANCER, IF THEY REALLY JUST DO NOT CARE IF YOU LIVE OR DIE, JUST COUNT YOURSELF OUT--OVER AND DONE WITH!!""' HOW CRUEL WHEN THE DOCTOR YOU **WILL*" BE COUNTING ON TO HELP GET YOU READY FOR THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE!! I'm seriously sorry because I'm going to speak °°°MY TRUTH°°° I've seen my share of doctors throughout my life, and today, especially TODAY, my own family practitioner isn't interested in my life nor my health. Oh, ok here it goes, the same ole, same ole; other people, but actually let's break it down to whom it really is that (ALWAYS SAY'S THE SAME OLD THANG, AND I MEAN IT'S SO DAMN PREDICTABLE & FRUSTRATING), Oh you really need to find another doctor that cares about you and your health. Are you freaking for real?? There are no doctors that I personally know of that cares about their patients...🤫🤫🤫 shush don't say anything let's not open that big can of worms ok?? Well there's nothing I can say or express that is going to change the way it is...God help us all, You are the THE ONLY ONE THAT ""I"" CAN TRULY TRUST AND COUNT ON!! Thank you Heavenly Father Jesus Christ for your love and mostly The One and Only I Know I can Come to, and I'm so, so Thankful for all that you do for me, love me, care for me, provide for all that I need!!
