Another great episode. The Henry/Mann short is one I never had the pleasure of seeing and From Soup to Nuts is a classic for both Stan and Ollie and Anita Garvin. I would say it’s her best role but Blotto also exists. Funny you mention her first role with Bobby Vernon - Dave Glass just posted the short on his page, known as Bright Lights (1924), after you posted this episode. Thanks for mentioning David Skal. I post as (clears throat) Doug Graves at the Classic Horror Film Board and I can tell you we are all devastated, especially since the way he went was so senseless and avoidable. He will definitely be missed.

Excellent show! Always great to see the lovely Anita Garvin and hear the cuckoo song. Looking forward to the 5 seconds videos for episode 100 and 4th year anniversary. 🎉🇦🇷

Happy New Year from the Pacific Northwest! The "Chicken Inspector" title cards gag reminded me of humorist/writer S.J. Perelman's book title _Chicken Inspector No. 23_ which I didn't understand as I hadn't encountered the slang term anywhere else. Now I get the joke! The "God gave her a body like a fountain pen" gag is funny too. "From Soup to Nuts" had me laughing hard. Anita Garvin's marvellous.
