Great documentary! I like your soft, informative narrating voice, your camera techniques, and your editing skills. I have been on this road a few times myself but never knew the mining history that you are talking about. Great job! I need to subscribe! Thanks for the extra efforts! Dave.

Thank you for the kind words. Part 3 was suppose to be out a year ago but I lost all my footage and had not backed it up. Hope to re-film Burke this month and get it up. Burke made Ripley's Believe It Or Not Twice as the Canyon is so narrow the hotel had the road, the river, and the railroad go through its lobby. Lots of great mining history here. Thanks again

I own the Hercules Mining Office at the top there. I would love any information you may have on it. Thank you for sharing.

I work for Historic Wallace Preservation Society. I will ask one of our members who is the local Hecla expert about info on this. You are talking about the red brick building at Gorge Gulch correct? Stop by and see us sometime. Located at Rich Asher's North Idaho trading co, 504 Bank Street Wallace. Thanks for watching my video too!

Hi Erik! Sorry it took me so long to get to you. I am going to check out your vid and am looking forward to it. I have some old photos when they built the Milwaukee Road across the pass and I think it shows the depot that was there too. Granted that is a little further down that were I-90 now crosses but its still part of the history. I also have some old photo's of the road they built for auto's. Would love to meet up with you.
