Fission pyro seems like what Simon could throw in this slot. It also has some dome which could help the hand feel. All that considered, I’m sure he just wants to add a midrange to his lineup; what MVP currently produces has very little impact on this disc

Great vid as usual. I believe the intended stability was somewhere between a Pyro and a reactor. The reactor is already between the Pyro and hex.

Not a prodigy fan but Isaac is a cool player and i got that archive and was really impressed with its flight too. Gave that disc to a friend that started playing and he’s loving it too. Kind of forgot about that disc until you mentioned it

Looks more overstable than a Pyro. I'll wait for a finished release and go with either an eclipse reactor or the new fission pyro if I want somewhere between for now.

First run Reactors had that Vector stability but they rarely come with that tall wing anymore. Neutron Matrices are more typically more overstable than the Proton you threw. The Fission Pyro is also very much like that and will probably fly super far in lighter weights.

Only reactor I'll use is a sweet star foil TK disc golf mini stamp eclipse reactor. 🎉 That fills the slot for me.

Even that flips a bit when thrown hard enough. Thinking they will try to target the 5/5/0/2 numbers if I had to guess. Something with true high speed stability.

I’m sorry but the pyro is just too perfect imo. I hardly throw my zone anymore unless it’s for softer approaches and I need all the stability I can get, off the tee or 200 out I’m just gonna rip the pyro. The balance may be cool but I feel like there’s no replacing my hex and pyro combo.

In my opinion, waste of a release. This stability slot isn't needed, I dont think people were looking for a Pyro alternative. I'd rather them release a new -3 like the OOP Vertex.

I think Simon was looking for more of a pros reactor to push straight and then fade with his arm speed. They are just releasing this failed proto run as a cash grab since people keep buying these one-offs. I was officially out of the non stock hustle with the tempo.

This years Gyro box sucks. Cannot believe they put a rejected mold into the box as a way to get rid of them. Also the stamps on 2 of the exclusive discs looks like a 9 year old drew them up. Really disappointed in the choices MVP this year for their boxes. Hard pass.
