i really wasn't excepting this choice. But my GOD!!! you chose the best one. When it was released after "Bad Buddy" which was another sensational BL, every episodes were trending on Srilanka, Malasiya, Thailand, Brazil etc. Gemini, Forth really did justice to the novel characters TinnGun. Also, the director and assistant director has such amazing projects in GMMTV. "MIDNIGHT SERIES: MOONLIGHT CHICKEN" is one of them. Please check that out also.

You can send an email asking for permission from GMTV (producer of the series) so that you can post the reaction without any problems, that way you don't have to worry about having the video taken down and you can remove the black bar from the top of the video, or even post it in full here on KZbin, depending on your preference after receiving permission, many reactors do this.

omg!!i am so suprised to see you react to this. These two lead actors were also the lead for the thai version of my love mix-up so i watched this after watching that and this show's so fun and cute!!! But thai bl's do have a lot of cliche slowed down moments, i just usually skip them so watching them rn makes my finger automatically go to the fast forward button lol Edit: I have actually seen a lot of thai bl's explore the leads relationship with there parents, now that you bring it up. Like way more common in thai bl than any other asian dramas, i feel like.

The songs are iconic I deadass wasn't expecting much when I started MSP but their chemistry and talents really went through in this series which showed in how popular it became especially considering how they were all technically the newbies in gmmtv back then. Also regarding PE including dance you'd be surprised how common it is in some asian countries -- at least for the philippines I could definitely say we had dance as part of our PE syllabus lmao. This is one of the few series I can rewatch with ease so I'm glad you're giving it a go (nice to rewatch it through reactions too) hopefully it'll be a good thai bl starter for you (I do highly recommend Moonlight Chicken after too, it only has 8 eps but it covers a lot of interesting topics).

It’s like a Christmas present having a new My School President reactor! Woohoo! Such a great show!! Not perfect, but SUCH A GREAT SHOW! Anyway, I’ll be catching up with your reactions quickly. Two things that I didn’t see in the other comments (maybe I missed them), but 1) you should watch the opening credits sequences. They actually have some meaning that gradually becomes more obvious. 2) The reason that Gun’s band got booed initially was that the song they played at the festival is a famous Thai rock song, and when they started off ballad style, the crowd was unimpressed (until they switched it to a dance track). Anyway, I loved how you correctly guessed what was going on with Tinn, you’ve got a good feel for this. So, have fun, and I’ll be following you now!

So glad you are diving into Thai BL, and this is a good first/second choise! As of now, Thailand is really leading the BL/GL/QL series when it comes to quantity and variety of genres, a lot of them have this kind of romcom campy vibe but there's also series about crime, mafia, action, fantasy, historical/period, horror, time travel and a lot more! And yes the series are typically around 12 episodes that are like 45-75 minutes long and the story is completeled in one season. Depending on a company and the series there might be quite daring love scenes or barely any kisses, it varies a lot. And yes as others have said, contacting GMMTV and getting them to aprove the reaction lets you just upload the whole video without problems.

ONE OF MY FAV THAI BL!! AHH im so happy. this series is seriously really good! Gemini and Forth have really great chemistry and this story is really fun but also have some serious strugglings that many not straight teens go through, but at the same time is heartwarming and done really great.

I love my school president so much, it's definitely one of my favorites of all time. As you said, it's very campy. It manages to be humorous and include some cliché moments but in a self aware/ironic way? Also its not just humorous but gets very emotional and serious at too. Very wholesome and touching and the actors, fourth and gemini, are insanely talented both musically and acting wise and I adore them together. I think they're the shining future of the thai bl industry. I can also very much recommend moonlight chicken - a more 8 episode long show I'd describe as a queer show rather than bl, in which they're the second leads and take on much more serious roles. Other thai bls I recommend for the future, if you're interested, are not me and last twilight. But for now I'm just looking forward to your reactions to msp. Also I was wondering since this is the first time I've come across your channel, what made you get into bl and decide to react to it?

Yeah you're right about the time length and the public reaction towards bl is more acceptable in thai, because mostly their citizens are very open about lgbtq+ community and BL Series is soooo popular in Thai❤
