Hard to hear someone talk about authenticity while wearing eye colour changing contacts. You got a good heart, that’s clearly. But practise what you preach

Actually, the choice to wear contacts is an authentic one for me. As I said in the video- authenticity doesn't have a certain "look" to it. You can't define or call out what's authentic for another person, only yourself. The thought that wearing contacts is inauthentic/fake is a conditioned thought, and one that I had to challenge and let go of myself when I decided I wanted to play around with them. You wouldn't tell someone who changes their hair color, or makeup, or any other form of self-expression/adornment that they're being inauthentic, at least I would hope. So I wear them as I please, and that's authentic. They're fun and make me feel magnetic. The issue would be if I'm too attached to them, which is not the case. I don't need them to record a video or present myself, refer to my other videos where I rock my natural brown and act, speak, laugh, express myself just the same as in this one, with the piercing green. It's all just play and experimentation, which is why Authenticity has no "look" or "rules" to it; the exact point of this video.

@@JoeiDee - It wasn’t meant as a shady comment. I was being sincere. It’s clear you care about people from a lot of what you’re talking about. But coloured eye contacts has nothing to do with something about yourself you can’t change. So the comparison doesn’t hold. You put content out for people to consume and share opinions about. This was mine. If you take it in a bad way, (that it wasn’t meant). That’s on you.
