Playing doubles is as close as it gets to play a different sport, you dont need amazing ground strokes or stamina, a good service and positioning like this video shows is more than enough to win. I like the 2nd example even more cause even if you dont poach you are still putting a lot of pressure on the opponent rally shots, i insist a lot on my partners to do this specially when they are not that good double players, its a great bluff specially if the opponents doesnt know your playstyle

The other common "sneaky" move is on the serve out wide, you not-so-subtly move to the middle for the cross court return leaving your down the line "exposed" only to recover and cover the down the line return.
