I can't overstate how succinct, present, and effective your teaching is. There are only a few other violin teachers on KZbin that even get close, but they all still remain a distant second in comparison. I feel like I should be paying you something given how good you are.

I am now 64. Started at 48 with no background. Had teacher only for Suzuki book 1 and some of book 2 before going on my own. I have already played Suzuki 7 and Abrsm 7. Somehow I am scared to go into 8. But I will. No teachers, not even watch much online. However, that's the way my brain works, learn things by myself, the long way. You definitely can benefit from teachers. Yeah, and she's such a pretty girl.

Great content! I'm an adult beginner, been playing for 2.5 years. Low bow exercises have been so helpful for my control, and intonation!

I asked my daughter to follow this technique and it works. You're a genius! In the fortnight she's been doing it she is already able to tune her violin without using the app and her intonation has improved. Thank you, Corrie.

Hi Corrie! It's 7 15 24 Mon. Eve. Been very windy here tree branches peeling off etc. Hot and humid! Glad I practiced this morning its too miserable now. This morning under my awning I played something rather Yiddish and similar to the way my old 4th grade teacher played. I'm amazed! It was all in tune sprite lyrics any way it was good! I'm using the captains chair bow hold by Bayla Keyes. She teaches one on one and I watch the lesson. All I know is between all of you teachers I'm managing to play very well if I do say so myself. I learn by hearing and mimmiking. Im not able to read Music fast enough to make.any difference. I enjoy your violin comparisons and try to follow along as best I can. Thank you for your enthusiasm! Bye for now.😅

Merci from la Suisse, and a fairly new piano student. I’ve had several patients who played violin, but I had joked that I was born with two left ears. After my retirement I bought a digital piano and started nerding out on theory and developing an ear. Actually two ears. Hope you’re playing pain free. You might want to see a video I made for exercises to stabilise and strengthen the low back. Since I had to change techniques because of a problematic shoulder, there are also various techniques for the shoulders, arms and hands. Oh My Aching Bach
