It sure feels dated now, but the nostalgia is deep with this game, and still a hell of a good time if you played it back then. Unintentional comedy gold at 11:32 , and it feels just like a Simpsons’ joke: suspenseful chase music is playing as you race Smithers to Burns. The music stops when the player exits the car. However, the player can’t enter the dialogue scene between Homer and Burns because the car just barely didn’t make it into the area to trigger the dialogue. Player gets back into the car (and HERE’S THE JOKE) causing the suspenseful chase music to immediately swell back up to its peak, only to be cut back off literally 2 seconds later, after Homer moves the car forward three feet, enabling the previously inaccessible dialogue point. I’m certain my written description doesn’t do it justice. It’s just a really cool coincidence that an extremely minor error in gameplay (if you can even call it an error) would create a musical timing gag that 100% matches the type of humor from the source material.

After seeing Apu as a playable character in this game it makes it even more heart breaking that the show would just write him out. He really was a member of the family in a way.

Matt Wells don’t forget the last mission getting back to the school from the power plant in under a min and if you destroy the nuclear waste on your way back to the school and are far away from the power plant then your pretty much fucked. I still remember on one of my playthroughs 5 yrs ago. I was on a streak and didn’t fail any missions. Even did set to kill first try w/ like 5 seconds left but anyways I was on the last lvl and everything was fine. I got the waste avoided a bunch of crashes and on coming cars but when I got to the krusty burger I jumped the fire truck jump and everything was perfect until a cop hearse sped into me at full force blowing up the waste. It then took me like 10 tries to beat the game again.
