Differences between Donut Mod 1, also known as Project Donut, and the original game. Here's a list of the changes in the mod: 1. New music in missions (eg: Skinner mission). 2. A level set in an autumn scenario. 3. Changes in mission names. 4. The radar color changed to orange-red to match the level's theme. 5. Introduction of a time limit for reaching the Kwik-E-Mart in the "Cola Caper" mission, now called "Kwik-n-Easy." 6. In the "S-M-R-T" mission, now named "S-M-S-H," the objective is to destroy Skinner's sedan before he reaches the school, instead of just racing him there. 7 - The Street vehicles have undergone modifications. 8 - The miles per hour cheat is activated by default on the radar. 9 - The sky combines elements from both level 1 and level 4 of the original game, creating an early morning atmosphere. 10 - In "Petty Theft Homer," which is now "Homer Hoolagon," there's a tight time limit for collecting Ned's stolen items, and at the end, you must escape from Barney. In the original game, the Barney part is not included. Afterward, you must return to Ned within a specified time frame. 11 - In this mod, the "Office Spaced" level experiences a crash, and it's unclear what it's named or what changes it might have undergone. It's possible it's referred to as "Taking Out the Trash," which is the name used in the latest Donut Mod. It's worth noting that this crash may have been intentional, as in the original Donut Mod 1, it also crashed at this level. 12 - Within the power plant, you'll encounter an unusual character wearing a mask, exclaiming, 'Marge, who is this handsome man?' This character doesn't appear in the original game and could be a humorous addition created by the developer, possibly voiced by the developer themselves. 13 - In Homer's workspace, there's a collector card that wasn't present in the original game. 14 - The time limit in "Blind Big Brother," now known as "Sleepy Sloth," is now shorter. 15 - At the mission's conclusion, after you destroy the power couplets, it seamlessly transitions into the next mission, where you need to follow the black van. In the original game, these were two separate missions, and the part with the black van was titled "Flowers by Irene." 16 - Rather than tracking the black van to Burns' mansion, you pursue it to the vicinity of Cletus' house, and that's where the mission ends. 17 - In "Flowers by Irene," which is now "The Van Clan," you trail the black van. In this mod, you follow it twice because you've already followed it at the end of "Blind Big Brother." In the original game, this is your initial experience following it. 18 - "Bonestorm Storm" is now called "Box Breakers," where your task is to hit the van and collect 22 games within a time limit, as opposed to the original requirement of 10 games. Additionally, you need to escape from Chief Wiggum at the end of the level. 19 - In this mod, if you choose mission 7, the power plant is Shut, a state typically exclusive to the mission in the original game, it's because individuals would cheat by exploiting glitches to bypass the door and win the race. The change was made to prevent cheating. 20 - In Mission 7, which has been renamed "Crash and Burns" from "Fat and Furious," there's a significant change. Instead of racing Smithers alone, you now compete against a field that includes the black van, the donut truck (which can be unlocked in level 3), and Smithers, who drives a pink car in level 4, and the limo (which can be unlocked in level 2). Additionally, a street car join the race, and a time limit is enforced. The old Power Plant door cheat won't work here. Moreover, the AI in this mission is quite aggressive, with the cars being exceptionally fast and prone to crashing, making it a challenging test for the player. 21 - The music in the final mission has been changed, and it now features the same music shared with 'S-M-S-H.' 22 - If the police catch you or the time limit reaches 20 seconds, the game reverts to playing the original final mission music. That's all the changes for level 1! Bonus: Furthermore, in mission 7, the original final music is briefly played at the beginning before transitioning to the new or 'S-M-S-H' track. Additionally, the game adopts a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio when using the mod launcher, while it remains in 4:3 if you're not using it. Bonus 2: In Level 1, hearses are the ones that chase you down instead of the usual police cars, even though it's not the Halloween Level 7. Tell me if i've missed anything!
