Nah you're right, the FIRST thing you hear is "YAY!" from Lisa while Bart is saying in a milder tone "aren't you sick, I thought I heard you barfing?" Now Bart doesn't realise that a parent might need to put a brave face on for a kid and go support them as he's only a kid himself, but he's showing more care for Marge here than Lisa ever has - and the point of the scene is "Lisa still needs me" When that's the wrong take itself, Bart is showing he cares for Marge and is willing to put aside things with her for her sake, while Lisa is only thinking of "well I get to do something with mom." I don't really blame Lisa, she's an 8 year old, but the whole scene is completely balked as it portrays Bart as being bad and Lisa being good when it's actually the opposite.

I personally found the episode very sweet and i feel like the last 2 or 3 seasons feel fresh which hasn't happened in a very, very long time in my eyes. Like there's always one episode or two in the modern seasons that is nice in the middle of forgettable and mediocre episodes, but these past few years i've been seduced by a lot of them, including this one.
