Th differences are so jarring. Another thing, Lois was raised by a love-less, old rich father who had no interest in her & didn’t try to bargain with her kidnapper. Marge was raised by parents who tried their best & were just normal parents.

I think that Bart can't be a bad person to people who actually make him feel loved and safe. Marge is the only person who basically treat Bart fair (at least in the old seasons) and with love, Homer however is a time-bomb and there where times when he got angry at Bart over nothing, Lisa can be loving at him, but she too had moments where she mistreat him. There's also a flashback episode where it shows that Bart was misteated by his first grade teacher even when he tried to be a good boy.

You don't know this show very well do you? Nor do you even know what a "mama's boy" is, if you did you'd know Skinner is a mama's boy, and Bart and Marge are NOTHING like Seymour and his narcissistic mother. Bart loves his mother in a healthy constructive way and vice versa, and the one time it went even a tiny bit too far in S17E05, Marge immediately nips it in the bud because she DOESN'T want Bart to become a "mama's boy". Bart just loves his mom, STOP shaming boys for having emotions. 🙄
