I like the look of the rooms, it looks real. But I don't like that the furniture is placed unable for sims to use. I would like to see nice looking rooms for sims to use.

Your rooms are so intricate. They tell a story and a good one at that. Even though these are just for show, they are sheer talent and they definitely give me inspiration. i say keep up the great work because these were fantastic!

@NickiandJackycoo ...ok well the canopy over the bed is an awning that requires OFB. the bed, side tables, desk and dresser requires seasons. i think the wallpaper was either one of the previously mentioned EPs.

I love these bedrooms. I'm pretty bad at making rooms,houses,gardens,etc... But this is really nice so it helps me.

Most of this stuff comes with the Sims2 Stuff packs or Later expansions. But if you don't have those, not to worry. Stuff packs are a waste of money, IMHO, because you can get all those items, one from expansions, and MORE on free sites like ModTheSIms2. MTS2 has a TON of stuff- from buyable items, food, clothes, hair, game mods, hacks, careers, holiday stuff, lots (Fully furnished, partially furnished, or empty), pets, etc...All WITH or WITHOUT CC.

Some of the furniture does look like Sims 3 furniture, but that's because most of the furniture transfers easily from Sims 1 > Sims 2 > Sims 3 with some minor updating and adjustments, and I know my Sims pretty well. Been playing it since the original Sims, and although text doesn't convey attitude, I definitely read your reply as biting.

I use the bedroom ideas in this but change them slightly for the Sims 3. It really helps for kid and teen bedrooms.

You build a stage around the bed, you find stages in Open For Business, with the foundation tools.

I like the ideas. the only thing is that I would be sure to check that the sims can access the beds. Some of them look like the sims would not be able to get to the beds.

@BibleBlonde ...you dint need any cheats....it the indoor stage tool i used, u can place anything on it just like a real floor. dont use the same tool that u would to make outdoor foundations (the one with the bricks)...use the other one (yellow)

It looks like a bed, fencing and another bed ontop of the fencing. You will need to use the cheat Moveobjects true (boolprop testingcheatsenabled true first) to move stuff anywhere you want. I'll have to try it. It's probably just for looks, though. :p

That's for Sims 3. This is a Sims 2 video so it is obviously a question for Sims 2. You have to use a variety of cheats to make bunk beds in Sims 2. I do have one bunk bed that is a download that is usable both top and bottom, but using cheats with beds will make the top one unusable (unless you use foundation and stairs but that comes out ugly).

How do you make those stairs going up to the bed in one of the rooms and the stairs going up to the desk and computer??? Nice video and by the way, you can't get up to the bunk bed because you didn't make a ladder up to the higher bed.

Cheatcodes. To be specific, the "boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true" cheat. Use the "." and "," buttons to move the object at an angle.

One of the later Stuff packs ( Glamor or Mansion & Garden I think...not sure) comes with bunk beds. But you can also download WORKING bunk beds with LADDERS on ModTheSims2 if don't have the stuff pack- better than having "floating beds" like you see in this vid LOL. Unless your sims are witches, in that case, floating beds make perfect sense....

@MimiRose6 You could simply go to Origin.com and buy the game online and directly download it to your computer. That's what I did when I bought Freetime... Although it may not work on a Mac, but I'm not sure, since my friend is the one with a Mac...

The Generations expansion pack is only for Sims 3. For Sims 2, you need a mod.
