I actually discovered MxPx because of their song Late Again while playing The Sims 2 on Xbox original as a kid. I got into punk music as a teen and MxPx became a favourite of mine. Though you can tell when an artist has kind of half assed the Simlish. Like Of Monsters And Men made a pretty sizeable chunk of the lyrics sound almost exactly like the real lyrics of Little Talks, especially the chorus. Rise Against did a pretty damn good job with Savior. But by far the best ones in terms of Simlish lyrics are, in my opinion, My Chemical Romance with Na Na Na, MxPx with Late Again, Paramore with Pressure, and Ryan Ferguson with Suddenly. The lyrics are barely intelligible and that’s what makes Simlish sound so unique and interesting. Btw I don’t mean to sound harsh or dickish. I’m just trying to be objective.

I remember hearing this the first time, totally unaware that actual artist translated songs into simlish, and thinking that this was oddly familiar. It was driving me nuts because I recognized it but couldn't put my finger on it. Only when I was with a mate at his band practice and they played savior and I just yelled 'HOLY FUCK!' This had been driving me crazy for a good few weeks and then I finally was able to figure it out. I get that major pop artist like Katy Perry and the like did it, but also DJ's like Depeche Mode and rock bands like Machine Head and Rise Against just left me stunned. Freaking awesome work.
