Here’s a couple things that I’d like to see in the sims 4: •NPC sims automatically get married, have kids and get in a career •Babies are more realistic •Have sims automatically catch feelings for other sims by choosing their preferences •Parents make rules to teens and if they break them (for example sneak out) parents can find out and give punishments (maybe in the parenthood pack) •Bullying can happen to kids and teens and acne happens to teens •Sims remember things like the death of a loved one or their wedding day and etc. The memories can recur to them and can affect their mood •Big events affect sims more •Male sims can grow beards when they become an adult and can either shave or let it grow •Kids and teens can do sports which could give them a head start at an athletic career in the future •Kids and teens actually learn things when they go to school (having their skills boosted) •Toddlers can go to preschool •Sim dating app •When a sim dies there’s a funeral event •You can go to school with your sims and build up their popularity status (would make a good game/expansion pack with other details) •the Get to Work pack has more jobs that you can go to with your sims, is more entertaining and isn’t seen as annoying •Sims can live on house boats •Sims can get kidnapped or robbed •Sims can have multiple jobs •Romance for sims is deeper and they can’t get married within a day of meeting •Sims aren’t always happy when they get pregnant, this can go off of the relationship with the father or if they’re married •When Sims cheat they can confess or the sim that is being cheated with (presumably an NPC) can decide to confess •Woohoo is risky and can lead to pregnancy even if you don’t select try for baby •There are further family relationships that the sim is aware of like a cousin or an uncle and etc. That’s everything I can think of. If I missed anything feel free to add :) Edit: I know this list isn’t realistic and they’re never gonna put all this stuff in the game. I was kinda just blurting a bunch of random stuff out that we’d have in a perfect world, I’m grateful with what I have in the sims already along with mods so I really don’t expect anything from EA.

@@dake5388 Well we had cars in the sims 2. Yes it's not really a necessity, but it was fun. Like, we had a very old car that you could repair and all, I think it was pretty nice. You could take it to travel, like the car goes to the road and disappear and then you have the loading screen. After, it parked by the side of the road at the new lot. You could woohou in the car and gave a ride to your date. I think it's still worth it in TS4. And yes omg I miss my occult sims T.T Edit: I forgot to say that TS2 was a close word like TS4, in case you didn't know.

I remember entering the sims 4 for the first time in 2014 and seeing a game that felt unfinished (in comparisonwith the previous base games). I gave it time as we all did to see it getting better and by last year i could see the game really thriving. We had university, tiny living was an interesting stuff pack and we were voting our next stuff pack so happily... Then this. Again. We get a pack out of nowhere without the possibility of even give a little feedback. I know that the idea of the "top secret development" sounds pretty cool, i know. But it needs to be stopped. I dont want to get an expansion pack and then two weeks later have a simguru giving a condescending, pragmatic and politically correct answer to our demands. I don't even care if this pack has recycled stuff, reused animations and concepts. I care for THE CONTEXT we are standing in right now. The only way i see a future in the game i love is by having the team focusing on the classics, the basics and stop following trendy themes and millennial lifestyle. It feels like the team is pushing an agenda on this and making the game be some kind of good behaviour simulation instead of the sandbox we all want. The community is what makes the sims the game it is. We made the game for the last 20 years and we can't stand watching it "fall" Please take this as a feedback and not just as an attack.

The millenials practically showed that they wanted this based off of their votes for Tiny Living among other things via Facebook and whoever pointed out that they weren't polling for the more interesting options for better gameplay were attacked ruthlessly. In the end it goes to show that they just don't care about making the Sims 4 a better game, the developers are well aware about the audience they're dealing with, why else do they continue to do the same sales pitch for game, stuff and expansion packs? Because they can get away with it despite negative feedback and I'm sure the sales have dropped off considerably. The audience has shown that all they care about is boring animation through sewing and recycling, with said recycled objects and actions, not explosions or anything showing big innovation. All you can do is mod the game or go back to 2 and 3 because the developers want to drag this out for as long as they can before moving on to something else and it'll probably be the end of the Sims franchise (since they and by extension the audience dragged it through the mud) by the time whatever they intend to do next rolls around.

I feel there isn’t a point in trying to tell EA what they are doing wrong anymore. The sims is changing and becoming different from the games we loved and grew up with. EA has continually shown that they don’t care about what we think or want. EA is greedy and they are NEVER going to change. It’s disappointing because there was much potential, constant advice, and interesting ideas from fans that they looked away from. EA doesn’t strive to create incredible content, they simply make mediocre cash grabs. I’m not going to lie, if it weren’t for mods and cc , the sims would be done for. Thank you sims, for dragging us on for the past years and convincing us it would get better but it never really did. Thank you sims, for letting I believe a majority of us down. This is one of the dumbest trailers I’ve seen 🤣

Just cause you can't control the sims in cars doesn't mean they don't exist in the game. The sims have cars, how else do they all get to work and school? Either that or public transportation. In debug you can use cars to decorate your lot, so they exist in the game for decoration. However, a lot of pollution and other ecological problems come from other places like animal agriculture, plastic packaging, clothing/fast fashion, etc. Animal agriculture releases more greenhouse gases than all transportation combined (including planes, trains, boats, etc)

HOW TO MAKE ECO-LIVING BETTER • Having a trash town affects sims negatively: o They get sick more often o They get negative moodlets (unless they have the ‘slob’ or ‘lazy’ trait) o The weather will be affected because of the pollution (warmer) • Having a green town affects sims o Some sims get allergies (because of increased pollination) • Introduce cars! (To give us a reason to want ‘eco-living’, there needs to be some form of pollution in the game) o Sims who live a more ‘eco-friendly’ lifestyle will use bikes (you can introduce new bikes or scooters) • Sims can have recycle bins instead of trash bins (different colours for different things) - as a low effort alternative to doing the things shown in the trailer • Introduce birds as pets, or birds/bugs that come visit your lot if it is green. E.g. butterflies, moths etc. o Kids can then have a butterfly catching hobby/animation, and can keep butterflies in a case o Or even have an ant-colony as a ‘pet’ • Introduce rats, flies and cockroaches when things are not clean • Boreholes - to reduce your bills you can install a borehole. • Other craftables besides candles (such as bracelets made from seashells, a mirror with a pebble frame, wax statues that melt in the heat, soap-making etc.) o That said, the candles look very same-y, maybe the higher your candle-making skill the better candles you can produce (e.g. rainbow candles, geometric candles, scented candles) • A chamber-pot (a toilet that doesn’t require water, and the stuff it produces can be composted in your gardens) • A bath-tub that can be emptied into a bucket and the water reused • A toilet-sink combo where the water from the sink fills the toilet to be flushed. • A cabinet where non-perishables can be stored (instead of a fridge) or an ‘ice-box’ like they used before fridges. • Poisonous plants can infect your other plants and causes problems when harvesting or eating these plants (if you don’t care for them correctly) • Fix ‘Laundry’ so it works off the grid (the tub can be emptied and refilled without a sink or from the pond, for example) • Planting trees instead of just placing them, and watching them grow. • Protest groups that can protest against Industrial waste (can trigger a negotiation where your sim would have to do something), or fund-raising parties for conservation (goaled events) • Using energy efficient lightbulbs that reduce the bills. o Have the ability to insulate your home (so you don’t need that thermostat thing in winter) o Have the ability to open windows in summer!!! o I don’t know if this works since I’ve never tried, but the fireplace should also keep your home warm when lit and needs to be cleaned out afterwards. • Litter o Slob sims litter without noticing (like toddlers when they make a mess) o Sims with allergies can leave tissues on the floor o Neat and ‘loves the outdoor’ sims will automatically pick up litter, and become tense when there is litter around • Sims should reduce, reuse and recycle instead of buying new objects (can tie in with a yard sale where your sim can mark objects for sale, like in City Living) • Sims can make their own cleaning supplies. • Encourage sims to ‘fix it, don’t throw it’. This will make sims repair an object in the home instead of replacing it automatically. • An oven fuelled by fire instead of electricity. Reduces bills. Just a few suggestions. I've done so much with elders in this game, just because they don't have anything unique doesn't mean they are being left behind. They could be treated like babies and just be a life state that sits in a rocking chair and doesn't get up. No elders can have jobs, develop skills, raise children (I play as grandparent/grandchild household all the time) go out and visit restaurants, date... Do everything YAs can do. They don't need to have exclusive things. I will say, adding in things that are typically done by elders (like retirement homes) would be great... But idk about you there not much difference between my parents, grandparents and great grandparents irl... There isn't anything "elder specific" the elders in my family do. But if there was, and people want it, I'd still want everyone to be able to do it, not just elders.

People are being hard on EA bc it’s absolutely garbage. People who have grown up with Sims and are loyal to them know that this game is just sad. You’ll be excited until you realize this is basically all you are getting for the next few years: reused animations, boring gameplay, uncreative ideas, overpriced games. The big reason they are making so much money is because they have loyal players who will still buy their packs even if it’s not up to their expectations. Also the fact that fans have been asking for things for the past 6 years and almost none of them have happened. ...because Electronic Arts is a scummy corporation that gets away with murder and the Sims is one of their most long running and popular series but they treat it and it's longterm fans like disposable trash. They are the old fans of the game. but the game changed. EA already has another market. EA is a company and will do what it sells the most, no matter how much old fans complain. I personally get the best out of every game I play. Sometimes I play sims 3, sometimes sims 4 ... obviously for the old fans, everything new will be bad ... they won't like it ... But EA no longer works for them. I personally think the solution is simple, if you don't like it, don't buy ... If you don't buy anymore, don't complain, play something else ... Or play sims 3 ... Or learn to program and create your game (for which you probably won't make much money ...). The world changes. Music, art, literature ... if you grew up with something and they change it, you won't like it ... (And for people who want a politically incorrect game, there is the GTA, Second Life ... etc. I personally would not like the sims 3 to become like those games, so I support the "political correctness" of the Sims 3, which I call setting limits. Castiglione xxx They are in their absolute right to complain about a product that disappointed them, after all they are customers. If you got sold/ read a faulty book wouldn’t you complain about it. Even if you didn’t, people are entitled to their own opinion and to voice said opinion. That’s why reviews exists.

It really is the most lifeless life simulation game. The townies the game generates don't even look like real human beings. I'd always end up having to modify each npc using cheats to give them more character and jobs, and even that can only do so much. It's like they released an unfinished game and tried to cover it up with stupid amount of disappointing expansions. Even the The Sims 2 from 15 years ago has way more depth than this garbage they call game.

I dont know honestly theres a lot in this pack. Features that effect the entire gameno matter where or how you play, new lot types you can put anywhere. Several new hobbies for sims, two new careers. A ton of new build mode. Looks like a good amount of new cas. A new death, a new woo hoo. A new town. This pack expands on almost every part of your game and offers lots of new options. Game packs just don’t do that. They usually only give you a little bit here and there. I think this deserves to be the expansion pack it is. Its also seems like its going to kind of stitch together a lot of the things we got from several other packs and i feel like thats a good thing for gameplay. A game pack wouldn’t be able to do that.

I just came for the comments.. let’s be honest the Eco Living idea sucks.. we all want story progression and hotels/resorts more in depth relationships and more interactions with babies.. but who are we kidding? It’ll go on sale in a few months for 20 bucks and we’ll all get bored and buy it anyway and the cycle starts over 😂😂😂
