Join me for a little gameplay demo of the Fairies vs. Witches mod for The Sims 4! This mod introduces two new lifestates with various abilities and features that can be a bit confusing to navigate, so I hope this is able to help! Suggestion: If fairies are associated with the Sylvan Glade, why not associate Witches with the Forgotten Grotto? I mean it also feels magical in an eerie way, fit for the darkness and wickedness of the witches right? That would be pretty cool :D

@@panparadox5816 Thank you! To draw power from emotions, your sim needs to be in a strong emotional state (Very Happy, Very Sad, Very Angry, etc.), then you select them, choose magic, then power source, and it should be listed in the interactions. :)

I'd really like to see a Witch HUNTER mod. Perhaps an expansion to the Paranormal Investigator career where after becoming good at that you begin to develop skills that can defend against supernatural beings, capture, kill, harvest, and profit from them. Create some strife that unites them.

I love the wings, I have a bunch of cc wings before I downloaded this. Including winx wings. I hope if EA adds fairies in the future that this mod will still be working. I also used to have nyx fairy mod but that one seemed to be broken so I removed it. I also have different witch mods so I will pretend that these witches from your mod,the witches from the witches and warlock mod pack and the spellcasters and the art of magic mod are different species of witches. I used to have the sorcerer mod as well but deleted that one because it was broken. I wonder if other custom wings work as well.

Other custom wings do work! If you use the "Magical Outfit" option, you can create outfits with custom wings and use them as your "Fairy Form". :)

I never wanted the real of magic pack before this mod. I recently discovered this mod and basically immediately bought that pack just to play this. Unfortunately I am a broke student, so can't pay you yet. If this was an official EA mod or if I didn't need that game pack for this mod, I would've paid you for this. Can anyone help? I seem to be having a different issue from lots of other people and can't find anything about this. All the items show up in build mode/CAS, i've had 0 problems summoning a witch at the alter, but when she appears, it doesn't give me any dialogue about becoming a witch and doesn't show any 'witch' tabs so I haven't even got to sprites, Sylvan Glade or anything as there's no option to engage to become a witch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, updated my game, I have other mods installed but none that should conflict with this (unless there's some I don't know of?) and everything is in the right main folder/not deep in my mods folders. I've tried on normal sims (not occult sims) and got the realm of magic pack installed. The mod shows up fine in my folders so i'm totally lost.

If I still played the Sims games (It was an expensive and very time-consuming hobby), I would definitely play the hell out of this mod. I wish I could see more of this and all the features/outcomes. It looks like a lot of fun and I'd love to see what all of the fairy forms look like. What are all of the power sources that a fairy/witch draw from? I also love the references to Winx Club (Especially the 4Kids dub, since the fairy form thing seems to have the 4Kids music for the Enchantix transformation). Wonderful job.

Hey, this is freaking awesome! Could you make something like this for aliens? Aliens were nerfed SO hard in Sims 4 and while Nyx tried to bring some of those alien powers back from Sims 3 it wasn't enough! I would love to have more alien powers and interactions! :D . Like summon a meteorite from Sims 3, UFO invasion from Sims 3 and maybe something entirely new would be awesome! :D

Hi, I can't seem to get the ethereal fairy to talk to me about becoming a fairy.. I'm in the glade and the fairies are there, I can talk to them and watch them perform magic duels ect, but I can't seem to turn my sim into a fairy.. what am I swing wrong?

I feel like I may not have installed this mod correctly, as some things aren't coming up for me. I have Realm of Magic and MCCC. Best thing ever!!! Idk what I did wrong but I can't seem to get this mod to work. First, I can't find the fairy statue, so I gave up on making a fairy. Switch over to the witches half, then I can't make the witch alter work😢 It's placed on my lot, I have my sim meditate on it but no witch ancestors popped out, nothing happened at all. Do I need something else to go with it or am I missing a step?🤔

Hi, For some reason I can't place any flower or gem on the Fairy Statue. Is there any way to cheat my way out so I can become a fairy without using the statue?

Update: Anyways I have updated my game and was able to solve the issue. If anyone wants to become a fairy without using tha Fairt Statue, just click the Shift button and click on your Sim (while holding the Shift button) and you'll get an option to turn your Sim into a fairy, so you can cheat your way out like that. If you couldn't figure out how to do it, leave a comment under this so I can try to help you out.

Hi i have a problem, I did everything right, and am in the sylvan glade and found a sprite, but when i click on make for a wish there's no option to become a fairy. what do i do?

Help Please : My sims can access Sylvan Glade fine, but the sims that showed up doesnt have wings or any fairy clothes. And when i try to interact there is no choice for "Greet Fairy" it happen same with the ghost witch.. they just like normal sims

I love the mod so much the animations and magic systems are so amazing and I really appreciate your work but I’m having an issue with the wing mesh clipping with certain shoes (mostly heels or tall boots) where my sims legs or whole body will disappear

Unfortunately this is a common issue with larger accessories that require larger texture space. If any other creator uses the same texture space or their mesh overlaps onto it, there will be conflict issues. This is a difficult thing to work around, so I recommend testing different CAS items and finding ones that work, or finding a pair of CC wings that don't conflict and use the "Magical Outfit" option. :)

Are there any extra wings cc mods that you recommend? I saw the trailers and love the smaller Wings and they get bigger as they rank up a thought for story wise (and winx no cap I want a music Fairy with Musa's wings so bad and a water Fairy with Layla wings)

I actually plan to release another set of wings and wing skins for this mod that are based on the winx wings, so definitely look out for that. :) For other CC wings, valentinakarlova and bellassims both recently released some awesome wings that would work great with this mod over on their tumblrs. But there are tons of option on thesimsresource and other CC websites.

Unfortunately, Witches and Fairies can't become other occults with the same orb style motive in their needs panel because they conflict pretty severely. As far as I've seen, the Hybrid Stabilizer mod can work with my mod so you can have hybrids with mermaids, aliens, plantsims, etc. as long as they have normal need bars.

I had the same problem at first also, I had to remove Zerbu changes to existing venues mod in order for them to show up. Hope that helps

So these Altar Configurations are really spiffy. I definitely would love to see more things involved with that! Especially if you included custom activities for clubs (similar to how Spellcasters do from RoM). And since you've already mentioned genetic witches, I'm definitely holding out hope that it injects with the bloodline system as well! In regards to Power Sources, is there any way we could get a page added in the book for the different types? I know that I remember reading somewhere that you weren't going to add any more Power Sources, so that might be a neat way to solidify those as we come onto them on our own. As a sort of review, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this went in a completely direction than what I was picturing in my head. Most magic mods sort of fake the factional system, but this does really well to actually show it. I hope that this could eventually extend some reluctance from vampires approaching your version of witches in a future update as well (TVD fan here, it'd be hilarious if you could just get them to hiss off). Regardless, some really awesome (and stable) additions to RoM. I haven't tried out the Fairy side yet, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually!

Hey! Great mod! I have been testing it these past days, and just wanted to let you know that there seems to be a bug related to the spellbooks. I deleted every mod that interacted with the spellbook from RoM just to be sure, but when I use "Open ...." on either of the books the window does not pop, the interaction just gets cancelled. If I find a solution I will update it here

I’ve seen a few people have this issue as well and apparently downloading MC Command Center was the solution for them. Aside from that, you could try putting the .ts4script file directly in your Mods folder. :)

What an incredible work! I've always been a huge fan of the Winx and now I can really re-create them (and even the Trix) in my game! I'm clearly gonna play for hours with this mod!
