How to Rotate/Size/Raise & Lower Objects on PS4/XB1 Freely Rotate Objects: Select the object you want to rotate then press L1+ R1 (PS4) / LT + RT (XB1) at the same time, then use the right stick to rotate Resize Objects: Select an object you want to resize and press L2 + R2 (PS4) / LB + RB (XB1) at the same time and use your D-pad ( buttons) to scale the objects size. Raising/Lowering Objects: L1+L2+R1+R2 (PS4) / LT+LB+RT+RB (XB1) at the same time to bring up the cheat bar, then type in bb.moveobjects Then select the object you want to raise or lower then press L2+R2 (PS4) / LB+RB (XB1) at the same time and use the D-pad (up and down buttons) to raise or lower objects. I tried all of these and they worked for me so hopefully this helps other console gamers who don't know to do this in build mode. One of the biggest improvements that i went through is that i learnt to not build too big rooms and houses. Its much better to start as small as you can, and then if you feel like you run out of space, just expand your rooms a little bit. Small and well decorated homes look MUCH better than really big and empty homes because no matter how much furniture you put in a really big room, its hard to really fill it so it looks good.

@@redmixiaomi5992 To scale down I use the - key. Either press shift, ctrl or alt(can't remember which one) whilst simultaneously pressing - . I hope this works for you!

wow, i already knew i suck but this made me realize just how much. i've been playing mainly the sims 2 for like ten years, never really learned how to build on sims 3 and now i'm paying for it because building on 4 is so different from building on 2... i never even learned how to do roofs in sims 2 because it has the automatic roof thing that has always worked well enough for me and i was so shocked when i noticed 4 didn't have that. so i've only been doing flat roofs but this video made me realize i'm doing that wrong too, i haven't actually done anything to the roofs so my flat roofs are actually just floor lol. i thank the sim gods for the pre-built rooms every single time i play because without them i would never get any actual playing done because i would never ever finish a house

For the people who don't have an English keyboard, use Ğ and Ü (not in the same time) and Ğ should scale down while Ü scales up 😊

Yup...I was fortunately aware of all the cheats covered, including the one briefly hinted at...the hidden objects one. However, the one I use the most frequently, would have to be the move objects cheat. I really love that cheat!
