maybe she wanted them to be opaque as in not blue but the same color as the wood. the blue looks like "fake glass", if they were either just wood panels or actually "glass" - see through with stuff inside, like some other cupboards - it would look better.

The sink and countertop complaint doesn't really make sense. The sink would be porcelain textured while the counter would be marble/stone/wood. They'd never be the same texture! Just raise the circular mirror to work with the sink?

You can move the mirror up with the 9 key if you have move objects enabled, so it can work with the sink

the reason the one sink is a different texture is because its meant to be a "farm sink" which typically are very smooth, poreless textures in real life. its not meant to look the same as the counters.

You can move the mirrors by holding either alt or shift I can't remember but then hold 9 for it to go up or 0 for it to go down at the same time

A lot of the stuff in this pack seems really versatile and personally stuff I want to use over and over! I love it all! I love that there are more options for one tile desks (I've used the City Living one tile desk over and over since I got that pack) and I love how perfect that sofa with storage underneath will be for tiny builds and just ahhh!!! I can't wait for this game pack, game packs are always so perfect for the build/buy content even if I rarely use the gameplay aspects they add :D

If you want to put the pink kinda vintage sink with the circular mirror, just grab the mirror and do CTRL+9 till you're satisfied with the height.

I feel like some of the objects were throw backs to the Sims 2 and 3. Like the white curvy desk, the tile wallpapers, and the windows. It was nice to be reminded of the earlier games in the series that I enjoyed so much.

Referencing your comments on the new light fixtures, I don’t know about Australia, but in the US, you can get mason jars in many different shapes and sizes. So, those lights looked fine to me, but I can totally see how they wouldn’t if you were used to only the roundish mason jars. Great vid as usual, btw.

For some reason you can't use move object on wall mirrors. Wall mirrors are all set to a predetermined wall height and stick once placed. I fully understand Deli's frustration over this, it bugs me too.

My mom and I do a lot of mason jar canning and we have a bunch of vintage/antique jars. Some of them are actually squared! But I can see what you mean - the shape is too square. The jars I'm talking about are still very rounded.

The mason jars in the light fixture are very similar to the jelly jar glasses that we have out here in the Midwest. They are more squarish than round. When I first saw them in the shops out here I bought 8 jars of jelly just so I could have a full set of glasses. :)

I'm noticing a strong "retro" vibe for this pack. I also like the mason-jar lights. I don't know, I've seen jars which are more square and those that are more rounded, so I don't think they look bad to me. I think they would like awesome in a really casual place; like a cabin or something sort of build. I am also thinking the laundry basket looks a lot like one you'd see in an industrial setting (like a hospital) than in a house. Most residential laundry baskets I've seen look like woven from reeds or more like trashcans. But, it's interesting. I think it will go well with the new eco-living stuff pack they'll come out with in the fall.

The reason the kitchen sink is a different texture might be that it is possibly like a farmhouse style sink. They are popular in the US and look like that. Also I agree that the lights look a little like medical jars. Still sooo pumped for this pack! :)

I miss the laundry we used to have with washing machine in sims 2 or was it sims 3, I can't remember. I also would love new stairs, L shape and U shape ones, straight ones are boring. I would love to have a garage again like we used to have. would love seasons to return, and have air conditioner for summer and heater for winter. so much they can add tot his game.

Mason jars (like brand name ones) come in many different styles - however I do recognize the 'square' ones as being a (brand name) mason jar. If i remember correctly I think there's 5 or so different types of mason jars. Then again I'm Canadian so they might not be the same ones as Australian's.
