The spirit dolls look like teru-teru bozu. I think people (mainly kids) in Japan hang them up on their windows during rainy days to hope the rain goes away. Or so I remember.

This looks decent, except for a lot of reused animation and some of the features we've seen have been sold separately in many different packs.

Honestly the reuse of older features is a double edged sword yes it would be nice to have new features and items instead but it also let's you save money on and or improve other packs for example this adds elements of outdoor retreat spa day and arguably fitness stuff (tents hot springs and rock climbing)

The Sims 4: *making a feature that lets sims "make a wish" to mountain spirits. So basically Snowy Escape included "pesugihan" as one of its features, eh?

Personally I say it’s ok. I’m new to the sims community and I preordered bc it peaked my interest. It seems to get repetitive getting my sims to snowboard. On the bright side, it seems that EA is hinting at a potential update for toddlers

It's Island living but with snow, pretty with very little substance. If you want it despite that, I'd recommend getting it on sale.

There's a feature that wasn't mentioned and that is, Sims finally have the option to remove shoes when entering the house. It's a welcoming new feature because I don't like the feeling of Sims walking around in shoes while inside the house or napping on the bed with the dirty shoes still on. Now it looks so much more sanitary when Sims remove shoes when entering the house and keep the socks on even when napping. I certainly do wish that there could be an small update on shoe removal when entering the house for both The Sims FreePlay and The Sims Mobile

@@brebre4ya1 Yeah, it sucks Sims cannot really go to a graduation inside the auditorium or attend a pep rally inside the gym! You can only decorate it, lol. You would think if your sim can attend a concert with Bebe Rhexa or attend an awards ceremony inside a building and get an award in Get Famous, they would have made it possible that sims can really graduated and walk up to receive their degree. Go figure.

I didn't know about the skiing classes -- that's neat! Though you'd think that snowboarders would get the same option. . .for that matter, that skiers would get the option to show off POV videos! Hmmmm. . . And I like that little pop-up that you can get as a Frequent Traveler -- I actually paused the video a few times so I could read them all. (And yes, Magnolia Promenade is something of an embarrassment, isn't it? At least the other tiny neighborhoods have nice theming. . .)

I believe there’s a reference to the 1960s Batman Batman series via an item accessible from one of the Vending machines… this being the “Mr Wayne’s Bat Bane” which is apparently an anti-bat spray. I think this is an obvious reference to the infamous/ iconic “Shark Repellent Bat Spray”. What makes it even more obvious is the name “Mr Wayne’s” (Bruce Wayne)

Am I the only one that think that it is too "hard" to die in the sims 4? Like my sens never die by accident. If they die, I expected and was looking for it or they die from old age. Like you need to get injured but a vending machine 3x to die, it is way too easy to avoid. Maybe if, sims die after being injured one but you have like 5% to get crushed by it the game would be very more interesting.
