This update is awesome. The Sims team completed the assignment on this one. I love the new home screen and the house refreshes or should I say REBUILDS are absolutely stunning. Im so glad they included Johnny Zest's house. He has a soft spot in my heart because of his past. As always. love your videos and your content. Always looking for more. 💕

Johnnys bedroom dresser looks like mine used to, except mine is 5 drawers. It is actually from 1928 but someone in the distant past painted it a dull blue grey. The paint was chipping etc for a long time and stayed that way until a bunch of years ago when my pop stripped the paint, stained etc the wood and then changed the knobs to white glass ones. Johnny needs to take it to bOb Pancakes house. He's a woodworker right??

9:05 Other people have mentioned this, but here’s the story with the Pancakes’ child. When the game added toddlers, EA added a toddler to the Pancake’s family. His name is Iggy. Thing is, they only added him to their family on the gallery. There is a second version of Iggy, by himself, as a teen from the Dream Home Decorator trailer that is also on the gallery. Personally whenever I start a new save, I switch out the Pancakes from the game for the ones on the gallery. I have learned that for some reason the sims on the gallery aren’t related at all, a seemingly common thing for older households, so I also remarry them to each other and make the game see Iggy as their son. I suppose I could just make Iggy their son and delete the gallery ones since there is no official connection between them.

ok not to complain but why is there such little seating in the landgrabs and goths living rooms. the kitchen in the goths house has such little counter space and the landgrabs don’t even have a dining room 😢😢

I was class of 2005 so I am also super excited for the 2000s stuff!!! I also loved all the new houses. I think my favorite glow-ups are Spencer-Kim-Lewis, Pancakes, and Zest!

19:59 I posted this on another video, but here’s a breakdown of the items in the event: ---------- There is a mod that let’s you use the event items now (the mod has to stay in to continue using them, not sure if it actually unlocks the items temporarily or if they are clones). I tried it, but already removed it, so here’s what I learned: Week 1: Phones are sadly decorative. Boots, glasses, bow tie (week 2), & outfit (week 2) are all from the character of Emit Relevart from TS3. Floors are from TS. Chair and couch (week 3) are from TS. Week 2: Alarm clock is functional. Buffet table is functional. Specifically in the buffet tables’s case you fill the table with random food for 250 simoleons. I think it was six or seven items per table. Some food items are listed as being made by you and some are not. Not clear on which is which. There are other options, but the one I tried did the same thing. I think maybe it does something different if some food is eaten and there is only some space on the table. There was also an option to buy a specific food which might be only a dish as a time since the cost was much lower. I forgot to check it before I removed the mod. Week 3: The dress is, as you said, from TS2. The musical note is 2 songs added to the retro station. The aspiration is just pickpocketing a certain simoleon amount worth. The completion reward is a slightly better ability to pickpocket without getting caught. I think that will be fun to use. Week 4: The cake is functional in that your sim can hide in it and pop out. The dance floor is functional, or so I’m told. I forgot to test it. The new collection: The milk cartons have images such as Bella Goth, a MySims character, and I forget the others. Someone suggested these might be hints toward what EA has planned for other games. I guess we’ll see.

Ngl I am so sick of these updates, I have to update soo many mods that I’ve only played once in the past 4 months and I can’t stand playing Sims 4 without mods. I have it on Steam and it forces updates automatically. Sims team I appreciate it but PLEASE just focus on your other projects for a little while, this is overwhelming 😭

Go to their web support for help. I had no issues, but I don't have many mods. Remove your mods and try, maybe there's a conflict. I've read Error Trap was giving players problems and needs to be removed until they update the mod.
