@benphillips4081
@benphillips4081 15 күн бұрын
Not so much an upgrade, human beings just need to drop the act. You're brain is a computer essentially. If you feed a computer iresolvable conflicts, it loses function trying to resolve these conflicts. Life and death, good and bad, light and darkness, everything and nothing, race, religion, culture, government, philosophy, mathematics, science, society, so humanity as a concept in general is one giant iresolvable conflict. Humans say they don't know why they only use ten percent of their brains. I personally think it's obvious.

As a kid (7yrs) I saw a fire in the sky. About 25yrds up, agressivly burning, no smoke, no sound, stationary. Then a square door closed over it and it was gone! Got lots of ridicule, and no explanations. Anyway, it made me open minded. I'm glad to see more and more people opening up about strange experiences.

You got to see what you weren't supposed to see. You were in the right place at the right time, what you saw is the smokeless fire which is a jinn. They are real, and they are very advanced, and very powerfull and as fast as lightning. There are good jinns and evil jinns. The one you saw was a good jinn because it was nice enough to let you see it and it didn't do any harm to you, it actually likes you and is probably watching over you with out you even knowing. As the famous Letter Kenny line goes? "It's kind of not even worth thinking about." It's not like we can leave the simulation. Hell, we might even wake up, after we die and say, " Oh yeah! I saw something strange yesterday.... 5 birds were flying in heavy wind above my yard at, say, 11 o'clock if you were looking at a clock. I was watching them fly, and then all of a sudden, they just vanished into thin air.... Strangest thing I've seen since the old lady ghost I saw in the cemetery 15 years ago in broad daylight. She was there one second and gone the next.... She was looking directly at me one second and gone the next second.... I only looked away for no more than two seconds, and she just disappeared....

If we are in a simulation it could be running at the speed of quadrillions of terabytes per micro nanosecond where all of human history takes place in a flash so it can run millions of scenarios to see what effect changing one small tiny detail in each recreation of our existence has on the outcome. We would have no concept of the speed because our existence would all be running at what we perceive as a normal speed relative to all the things in "our" universe. Or the simulation could stop and freeze for eons then start up again and we would never know. We could even be a forgotten simulation running endlessly off of background radiation floating in whatever universe we were created in until that universe ends, if it ever does. See you around, or the next time around.

So, maybe if we are simulation, the purpose of that simulation very well could be that they are testing how long does it take to simulated civilization to realize they are living in simulation, so if that's the case, it's very much possible that soon as we realize, this simulation accomplished the purpose, and therefore so they could just switch it off.

I don't know if this has been asked but, how would we be able to even conceive the possibilty of a simulated universe, and expand on it, if this was a programmed and controlled reality? How could we have the free will to do, since free will is, by nature, chaotic and a program, by nature, is a set of logical rules.
@kessilrun6754

One thing though? This kind of reminds me of the Mass Effect 3 storyline. So, with us being in a simulation, wouldn't that mean there is a limit to the extent of which a civilization may advance? Before dying out? Whether be it by their own hand? Or another? So, if you really wanted to try and break the system? We would have to take a "shared knowledge" approach. In the case of Mass Effect 3? You had this ancient super-advanced civilization, called, "The Protheans." They were on the cusp of creating the ultimate weapon against the Reapers. The Reapers being the entity that resets the life cycle for advanced civilizations. More so? The Reapers had deliberately left technology behind that all civilization would eventually come to adopt and model, so that they were advancing in a linear and predictable fashion. The Protheans knew that they probably wouldn't finish their weapon before they were wiped out, and moreso? Seemed to be aware of this. So, they dabbled in a super advanced stasis technology, that would try to push/ extend their lives out into the next cycle and hid, deep, underground. They also hid plans for this weapon, deemed, " The Catalyst" as well as logs and AI containing Prothean history, and knowledge, So that future civilizations could have a head start and fare better than they did. This is what we would have to do to try and break that system. We would have to take everything that we know and share it with other civilizations. Those civilizations, in turn, would have to do the same. So that civilizations, early on, are stumbling across ancient technology that furthers their own technology by thousands of years ahead of what they would otherwise be capable of. Honestly? If you think about it? This is really how the universe should work.

If you think about it, DNA is just code... bioengineering is just rewriting the code. What interests me is the theories about dimentions. It is theorised that a 4th dimention could be time... so that beings could exist in a 4th dimention but we will never be able to perceive them because they are not on the same timeline as us, much like how a 2d being could not perceive a 3d being. Its very possible that a race living in a 4th dimention could be controlling us right now and we would never know they exist. Are the 4th dimentional beings really just the creators of the simulation and dimentions themselves are just limitation set by the coders to prevent us from seeing the? I am very open minded about stuff like this, its fascinating. There are way too many consistencies in the universe for it to be completely random. Astral projection in my opinion is a 4th dimention, where a being can be in 2 places at once but but cant be seen in the 4th dimention while viewing the world. If we were able to access the 4th dimention, would we be able to see the creators or have access to the code of the universe? I wish i was smarter to in order to comprehend it all better

If the theory is true then the ones controlling the simulation is our family pets, more specifically our cats. They are actually super intelligent and have always been pulling the strings. I know I pretty much do whatever my furry babies want me to do usually before I realize I'm even doing it.

Reality has rules it runs on and we model these with science. I understand how you would mistake that for a simulation. I don’t think people really sit down to think about why things are the way they are for instance if there was no speed of light meaning it’s speed is essentially infinite then everything would happen at once. Also, the biggest issue with simulation hypothesis is compactness. A bounded system has a finite amount of information and thus any simulation will have its limits. Our universe, however, is limitless. Really every one of these arguments are silly at best.

I kinda think there is a finite amount of information and that we have never actually created but rather discovered what already exists. I know it doesn’t make sense when you consider the idea of infinity but I like the thought anyway. I do think the word simulation is a bad descriptor because if we are living in a simulation the people who created it are certainly living in one as well and so on.

If we are in a simulation which started with real players, there must be huge amount of non-human AI characters with the increasing population. They would inhibit behavior like not able to think for themselves or lack critical thinking, no?

There is no doubt that we are living in a holographic universe with meaning. For there to be meaning, there is intent... which means either the universe itself is conscious or an outside source. So the universe is itself God or all the energy in all universes and all dimensions is a part of God, including us.

Why can’t our loved ones respawn? And why run a sim where most of your players have cancer, diabetes etc , life is just so full of pain. I don’t get that sense from gta

Ahh, but what if when playing GTA, you were fully immersed in the game world and didn't know it was GTA and the code from getting hurt caused pain and body damage, then you would get that sense from GTA
@onidaaitsubasa4177
@onidaaitsubasa4177 14 сағат бұрын
Technically there is a kind of respawn, but each life, or you can think of as your character is unique and can only be used once, then you come back as someone new with new fresh memory, it's the ultimate expression of total immersion, it's the only real way to make sure that people's moral values of life and death actually matter and mean something, if everyone knew about respawning being a thing and if they could retain their memories then they would be putting others needlessly at risk, and it would lead to too much chaos.
