Hi , I’m from Maui . Lahaina was my childhood town . Friends have died , the town has been destroyed , lawmakers are stealing land and water . This time travel idea was innate to me as well and has always brought me through hard times and it will carry my heart through this too. But I’m still wondering what is the purpose of bringing people to so much pain , can’t it be avoided as we transcend ? This message gives me strength and hope but also leaves unanswered questions . I am a recovering Christian who sincerely laid my heart at the altar time and time again only to feel excluded , abandoned and judged .I don’t understand why good hearted people need mercy if we were created by God this way. Adam and Eve shoikd not be blamed when god left them to be tempted , it seems like a setup . I don’t understand how to feel singular with god when this fire that killed so many neighbors wasn’t stopped by his power. I’m super conflicted . I’m asking sincerely , thank you .

Death comes to many like a thief in the night. Tomorrow is not guaranteed and the Bible teaches to abandon fleshly desires. To a saved individual, part of the "singularity", death, even by fire, should be a reason for celebration. You should rejoice your loved ones have left this curse, or morn the lost opportunity to bring them to the singularity. The Shepard comes when you least expect it. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Study the scripture, Christ's words in particular, and you will find the nourishment you are searching for. Submerged yourself in it. Those who will give up their lives will find it, and those who try to find life on their own will lose it. God is not in the business of protecting us from worldly trouble. He is in the business of saving our souls.
