This was a divine moment for me from God. I just realized that I’ve been denying my natural gift/talent of leadership. I knew I had it at one point in my life but because of career failures and circumstances and my own insecurities I let myself live a life afraid of being a leader. What Erwin said about being created by God to develop a future hit me hard. “You are your own ceiling” So good. I preached Malachi 3 this Sunday, and the fact God said “return to me and I’ll return to you…” It was up to them. We are the ones who hold us back. I remember Erwin way back in Texas days. My dad worked for the Texas State Baptist convention and I saw him quite a bit from a distance. I’ve always liked him 😊
