The Siren

Sound file with basic text description of the siren that used to sound at fire stations around Northern Ireland (and other places) throughout the late 50s to the early 90s before they were mostly replaced by pagers. Like many people I grew up within earshot of one of these and every time I hear it it brings back so many memories. Had a friend of mine throw this together for me and he informs me that an American company has filed a copyright strike on it despite it being a commonly used device all over the UK. :/
