Agreed. She’s had some cracking material the last year or so. Interesting to see Kirkwood is actually also better as a writer than a producer… still haven’t forgiven him for running Eastenders into the ground back in 2012 though…. The baby swap story or killing off Pat & Heather.

@@lew5547 Pat erasure still burns today, and I hated that by killing Heather they made Ben a murderer, so boring and one dimensional whose father's whole anti-hero schtick is that he's bad, but not a killer.. maybe left field here but I loved the baby swap storyline. I wanted it to go on longer. I still want it going on actually, could you imagine ? I remember screaming everytime ronnie walked around that square with kats baby lmao sometimes in front of her, just chilling ... so camp

Sharon has always been an icon from when the show launched back in 1985, dealing with her parents, her dad been a cheat, her mum an alcoholic, married to grant and her history with Phil. How she stepped in to help pat butcher when she caught her stealing out of the till but didn't sack her, absolutely love Sharon ❤️

I think Kellie Bright who plays Linda said on 'This Morning' that they used a body double for the person whose hand Sharon was holding when they filmed the flashforward. I could be wrong though. I think she also said they filmed two different endings, one with Sharon saying 'He's dead,' and the other one with Sharon saying 'She's dead' instead.
