That is what my friend called having a car die on the rack. He liked to keep cars moving on and off the racks. He hated to have a car die on the rack. If you pulled it onto the rack and found hidden damage and didn't have parts to fix it.

I love to see projects most people would write off as unsavable be saved. I also believe the fact that everything is being documented in these videos will increase the value of the vehicle in the future, as prospective buyers will be able to see the repairs were made properly. Way to make it work ! Your repair will not only be adequate but will be probably stronger . The money saved repairing what was there as opposed to purchasing and fitting new/used suspension parts is a no brainer. Removing the old and fitting in something different would have cost more money for the part and probably three times as much labor. Great job ! Though a tedious repair it just continues to add to your experience .

Wow nice job guys you did an awesome job ! , when I use my Miller to mig aluminum I loosen the drive wheels as much as possible, it’s a fine line between grip and slipping , then if you get a bounce when welding it won’t make a rats nest in the welder 😂, I also keep the whipp as straight as possible and use a nylon sheath inside the whipp it allows the wire to slide easier and not bind up Very impressed with your skills guys !

Only problem is your welds are much nicer than what Ferrari does from the factory. Lol. I’m restoring a 1977 308 GTB and the factory welds look like chewing gum stuck to the frame.
