Little tip for smoothing sealers and silicone is put some dishwashing soap in a spray bottle with a touch of water then spray it on and use your finger or other preferences to smooth it. Rounds off smoother. love the show. 👌👍

It only figures that the time you, Benny and the Barra come over, Dragweek doesn't pass thru Tulsa. Here's a tip for the next time you do any deep drilling with a hole saw. Drill a smaller hole or two just inside the OD of the hole saw cut. It will let the chips drop out instead of binding and galling in the saw teeth. It's worth the extra step, trust me.

Hey guys, just a small tip - when you apply the sealant: make some huge blobs around it and "sledz" it with medium brush. It will look and seal better than using finger (plus you don't get so messy). :) Also great work, love the show! :) sorry for late comment, but I'm 2 months behind watching it, no time atm. :/

The word smoo started off in Picture Magazine and was used to describe flange. Mechanics in Australia use it to describe anything moist and sticky, eg. gasket goo, silastic, grease etc. We also used to call those products Konk as well ! Is Woody, Al's red headed step child?

Pro tip for seam sealing: Lay down some masking tape either side of the seam. Apply sealer. Smooth with finger. Remove masking tape while the sealer is still wet for a nice clean finish.
