I've been playing for three years now and I always learn something new! Keep up the good work. I, for one, appreciate it!

Yes, please for the video on keybindings!! As a new player this is what I'm struggling with the most. I feel like if I knew a more efficient way of using my skills I could focus on more crucial aspects of combat such as rolling, moving, etc.

The video I'm currently working on is a freaking bear but I wanted to help you out -- for keybindings you want to find something that you can reach with your entire left-hand (assuming you're left handed). I keep my left-pinky on the left-shift button, my Ring, Middle and Index on A, W, and D, and my thumb on Space. My normal skills are still 1-5 and I'll use whatever of my three middle fingers is available to press them. If I'm moving forward and need to hit the 3 skill, I use my index finger off D to press 3, otherwise I'd use my middle finger. Then I have all my F1-F5 skills bound to SHIFT + 1 - SHIFT + 5. Same idea except now I'm engaging my pinky. For my 6-0 skills I use: 6 = Q 7 = E 8 = R 9 = Shift + R 0 = C My mouse is similar to a Logitech G203 (two buttons by the thumb and a clickable scrollwheel). This lets me: Dodge = Side Button 1 Weapon Swap = Side Button 2 Special Action Skill = Click Scroll Wheel About-face = Shift + Side Button 1 This setup lets me do nearly everything I need in a fight -- all movement skills (minus auto-run), all attack and profession mechanic skills, weapon swapping and special action keys all without moving my hand. I added the video to the backlog. The next one I'm producing is about groups in GW2 and what that means and it sucks because I have to capture a lot of group footage which takes a long time. T_T Thanks for your kind words (on this video and the other) and support. Hopefully my next videos don't disappoint! :)

@@Chickenooble wow, dude. I want to be your friend. Thank you so much. Good luck with your video. I don't know if I'd be able to help much but I'd be happy to give you a hand if needed. Once again, thank you.

Honestly loving the videos. Very helpful as someone just jumping back into the game. I appreciate the effort and detail you put into your videos. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the next. Subd up.

Thanks. The next should be out this weekend about the new Tutorial that was added to the game and my thoughts on it... And then I'll try to finish the next Coaching Casual vid. Thanks for the support and sub.

Keybindings would be great. And it would follow the line of briliance I saw on your videos. Can´t wait for the next upload ... its been a while now. However, thank you for the very good and informative uploads. Consider yourself subscribed. Cheers from Austria.

Thanks man. This series stalled for a minute because I couldn't settle on how to package the next bit of content clearly and concisely. I did some other videos from my backlog in the meantime. I try to do two or three videos a month... Thanks for the kind words and support! Hope you enjoy whatever comes out next.

I last played in like 2013 so hopping back in now these videos have helped a good deal with getting back upto speed, I was in for a shock when my standard thief DD zerker wasn't cutting it in the expansions.

Right on! I really don't like some of these earlier "coaching casuals" videos (I hate the name) and I plan on re-making them into smaller, clearer videos on specific topics. Hope you stick around! Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment.

Wow, terrific explanation of skills. Trying to learn this on your own can be really frustrating. You’ve packaged this up really well. Your videos should come with the game download! Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words - glad you think so! Unfortunately I don't get to bundle my videos in the game... but if you share it with friends or other new players who could benefit from it, that's the next best thing! :)

Once you've assigned a hero point to a specialization, can you rearrange them? for instance I have 60 hero points and I assigned about half to Invocation and half to corruption. Shortly after, I realized I should have put them all in corruption. Can I change the hero points to fill up corruption?
@Chickenooble2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not. By the time you hit 80 you'll have enough points for every core spec and skill so this issue will fix itself soon.

a way to disable skill tooltips from showing ?
@Chickenooble2 жыл бұрын
Nope. Use keybinds if you don't want to see them because they only appear with mouse over.
