Jacob is joined by Blaine in the Tetons as they try to summit Mt Moran via the Skillet Glacier, a North American 50 Classic Ski Line. Even with a "late" start (somehow 2:30am is considered late in this part of the country), a questionably frozen lake and a general lack of sharp pointy things...they are determined not to let any of choices made by the 30+ people in front of them from ruining their summit bid. And lets just say this isn't exactly your normal ski video of people ripping powder...

Another rad adventure that I loved wathcing! I am curious, why did you think bringing crampons was the wrong move?

Figured it would be more dangerous getting slowed down by the extra weight and spending way more time out there in warming conditions

In my opinion, if you have the flexibility, this is a line worth cherry-picking a weather window to ski/ride in powder. The Skillet in powder may be the best line in North America.

Would come back for this reason. The reason there was so much debris was bc there was a huge dump a few days before :(

@@wannabepro7 yeah if you do it in April it has to be the first clear morning after a storm otherwise it’ll be an avalanche debris nightmare. I’d say the best time for the Skillet is early/mid March. Sun is just too strong in April
