Yeah we never really explained that. this was recorded in a MASSIVE echoey warehouse-like room. unfortunately most of the reverb is natural haha. Just an accidentally poor choice in recording space ;)

To achieve the delay on the vocals, they use a guitar pedal delay coming out of the sound console. Saw their FOH engineer mixing them.

All of the reverb, echos and delays are post production effects, typical of dub/reggae genre. I have to say the producer was pretty heavy handed with these effects on this track. It can sometimes be too much. Check out the studio recordings. The production might be more to your taste on the album.

This is a great song by a great band but why have them play in a massive shed? The reverb is WAY too intrusive and doesn't do justice to the song
