Kind of a cool one! Definitely still echoes as a scifi plot throughout the years. Love the narration! We need a film noir story by the same guy. Rest in peace.

another great story by 1950's sci fi legend Phillip k dick , brings back fond memories of my youth , I learned English by reading galaxy magazine after school when I 1st immigrated from Libya , these writings are taboo & will get people killed in the Islamic world so it was a real treat to get a new magazine every month here in USA , don't allow these anarchist kids to bash your great country , america stands alone as the country that's done the most for the world , and people of all races , even an African Libyan like myself who was lynched in Libya everyday .

So his time traveling crystal cage was left behind? Is that how they got time traveling technology in the first place? What a twist.

One of his absolute best. On many levels: religious themes yes but also a utopian socialist vision of a society that embraces non-violence

Something about this one (not just its obscurity) is so perfect to me... The simplicity, coupled with my image of Conger as a bit of a brutalist nothing, going so organically from anti-hero to hero... PKD was every bit as good as Stephen King if you ask me

great story...you critics try reading it better then play it back to yourself and cringe....too many unthankful people that expect everything to be easy....go out and achieve something.
