Eeeexcept we knew before this video was posted that it was a woman pilot that was Biden's military social aide. She had 500hrs in the cockpit (meaning she was still inexperienced AND coming off a non-flying WH detail) and was flying in NODS in the most congested airspace in the nation. This is not a good mix to get flight hours in. There should have been ALOT of sim time before she was in live traffic. Compounding this is a discrepancy between radar tracking and the cockpit display. Was there an equipment malfunction or did she set the altimeter wrong? (when you're on deck, before takeoff you verify altimeter data) There is fault all around. Trans? no. Woman? yes. Inexperienced? yes. The DEI is in the command chain. There are PLENTY of competent women pilots in combat and many have spoken out against this. I don't care who does the job so long as they've displayed their competency and skill.

For the NZ accent here’s a tip, it’s literally just an Australian Canadian accent. They pronounce some things differently but it’s mostly the same. Deck becomes D*ck, Pic becomes Puck. 9:13 Fun fact: when it was built, the lower level of the B52 with the Navagator and Radar Navagator I think (I'm like 75% sure it was those two) had ejection seats that would fire down, like early versions of the F-104 Starfighter

They either have downward firing seats or a bailout panel in the floor. Can't remember which. Having grown up climbing around inside an old B-52D, there's no way the bottom seats fire upward. The real oddball on the older B-52's (I think up until the E or F model...later models with tail guns were remotely controlled from the flight deck ) was the tail gunner bailout procedure. Basically there were explosive bolts that would fire, allowing the tail gun to fall off the back of the plane. The tail gunner then just kinda fell out the back. If you search around the internet, someone actually had an "oopsie" with this on the ground...insert any "that'll BUFF out" comment here.

@@HenryDaNinth I never could afford health insurance. Now that I'm old enough for Medicare, I have to pay the government $185 a month for the privilege. I still can't afford to see a dentist or an eye doctor because none of that is covered and, from what I've read, I'll still have to pay out $1600 per hospital visit plus 20% of the hospital bill if I ever have to go into one. I've not been to a hospital or seen a doctor since I was eight and a botched tonsillectomy caused a systematic strep infection that gave me rheumatic fever and almost killed me. COVID also just about killed me, though I never saw a doctor for it either. I have high blood pressure now and occasional chest pains and running a 104-degree fever for two months from COVID made my teeth fall apart. I probably should be on something but I won't be getting Social Security until I'm 70. Maybe then I will go see a doctor about it. Fortunately, I actually know a bit about medicine myself. I was an Army medic, paramedic, and hospital intensive care technician. I'd likely have a retirement income if I'd stayed at those jobs but noo, I wanted to study biology and go be an adjunct professor, where I was making $15,000 a year with no benefits or pension plan. I had a fun life though and now that it's drawing to a close can't really complain too much.

I would imagine their jets for one higher the top pilots, two are maintained far better than anything for normal airliners, following that they're superior because they cost a heck of a lot more to produce rather than being government funded. If you're talking about financials yeah they're doing fine, most of them don't really have any real issues currently because their money is all in the value of companies not actual money.. its quite a bit different.

Sometimes I question if the internet was a positive influence on the world, and when I look at the children who get addicted to cartoons before they even finish potty training I can't just blame the parents but then HLC comes in with spinning tragedies like a true comedian into some good laughs and it balances out a little bit again. The difference between new Zealand and Australian accents, is that nz sounds like an aussie who is permanently happy. Try saying "Oi! My mum died!" in a happy Australian voice - that's NZ
