They're competitors. If you don't think both will be excited to play together you're fooling yourself. They both want to win. They'll be fine together. Mabry will fit right in. The Sky aren"t entering tank mode. The no. 1 pick they now have is for the Sun's placement at the end of the season. It doesn't matter what they do because they traded away their pick this year to get another early pick, which was Reese. That's why they had 2 early first round picks. I imagine they told Evans its time to step up. She can shoot three's but has been extremely hesitant. It's time to see what she's got, if anything. There are a lot of quality guards coming out next year. Uconn has 3 that will probably go in the first round. Notre Dame has another two. There are others as well. Not everybody's needs will be at guard so the Sky will have an opportunity to trade up from the Sun's pick. A PG for sure. L.A will be interesting. They are in the Paige sweepstakes. They recently got back Azura Stephens from injury and she and Jackson have been playing really well. If they get Paige, their lineup would be Stephens, Dearika and Brink on the frontline with probably Jackson at the two and Bueckers at the one. That would be fun.

I understand the Sun taking this chance. It is really a good trade for them. As for the Sky...they got fleeced. They gave up so much and got little back.
