Beautiful. I've been listening to them for about 13 years, saw them 4 times in 4 different countries, and this movie made my evening! Marcus is awesome, I've spent a night with them drinking after a gig!

23 shows (24 if you count tonight's live stream) and I have never seen this. Simply amazing. They're the world's greatest band nobody ever heard of. I still play to this day because I have as much fun as Marcus does every time I see him!

Love the progression of the band, at the end of the documentary you can see how strong the Intonation and how tight the band has gotten its beautiful

Lovin the slackers and commenting for the algorithm. Seen em twice. Will go see them any time they ever come around for this point forward. Introduced to me on give em the boot 1 near ‘97.

Yesssss! 2nd song heard in the film “NO LOVE” my FAV! & the version with Vic intro. F’n awesome.

This is great. There are still a lot of questions I've had for years that it didn't address -- what happened to Q, Mush, TJ, & Zulu? What was the beef with Moon? -- but the interviews in here are great. Vic's one of my favorite songwriters, & hearing him talk about love, his dad, & other songwriting inspiration was really worth it. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Glen seriously hasn't aged a day. Haha and every time I meet dave he's rude to me Haha but ara and jay have always been kind and understanding of my obsession with this band. The best band ever.
@brendenpavao20715 жыл бұрын
You've gotta catch Dave when he's performing with someone other than The Slackers haha. Once I got to know them all, I realized how much he has on his hands at every Slackers show when it comes to dealing with every part of everything. He only really gets any kind of a break when their tour manager is with them, and even then, he's spread thin. When you catch him on an off night onstage with someone else, he's as chilled out as Vic haha.

I don't think it was a good idea for anyone to have sex in the back of the basement of a church during a ska show, if that's what Marcus meant by "consummation". The promoter of those shows got that space for free. That's why the tickets were always so cheep. If they found out that that was happening, the promoter could've lost that space.
