The Slope Trial This One Is Frustrating Took A Shortcut At The End You Might Find Useful Snowrunner

On the first really long icy downwards slope I went to 1st person view, put my gearbox to low-, AWD and Diff. locks on. Then as the truck slowly starts to move forwards on its own, I slam the gearbox to reverse and give the truck full throttle. I noticed full throttle reversing with AWD and diff. locks is more effective way of braking than standing on the brake itself or trying to use handbrake. In the first person view you also have better view where you have to steer. It still won't be easy but all those help. The fuel find is a really good thing. I didn't notice it when I finished this trial and I have like 33 liters left in the tank without the extra fuel. I used as much the woods as possible. The snow is level and more solid there. I went along the river on the other side meaning that I didn't cross the bridge. Then right where the icy upwards slope stars, I crossed the river there and winched myself across. Then I didn't climb the icy upwards slope but took the forest route right of it. Then drove as much next to the road as possible latching myself to trees from the side at all times. On the ledge I unpacked my crane and pushed it to the right side of me on the ground. It acted as a balancing arm which stopped me from tipping too much over to the right side. Then on the final really steep icy upwards slope, I again went from the right side of it. Then close to the top I was really careful around the rocks and latched my side again to a tree. It saved me there from tipping over. Then I just drove through the snowy bumps between the trees. But this trial is super annoying. You look at the road and see its level but it infact is not which is so frustrating. You can't trust visual cues on this trial at all. I don't know is there even a shorter route if you go back next to the river after you have descended the first long downwards icy slope. It looked like there might be some sort of path there but couldn't be sure.

Thanks yeah I didn’t know where I was going but it always seems like games say go here and then they have obstacles blocking every path that would be the most straight. So my first thought is always the first way that seems most direct is probably not the correct one so I found the fuel because I was like coloring going the long way first lol. That is a very detailed route. I’m trying to picture some parts of it and I might have to replay it just to see what your talking about lol. But I’m glad you finished it it is really annoying one one tip and you gotta restart. And yeah it’s icy and snowy and the ground looks fairly flat but it’s sloping in all directions and then big rocks and small rocks it’s a very tough one I love using the crane to stop the fall though always a solid choice. Good job 👍 I used to sprinter to do a majority of the contents in the game. That's about All it's good for. Fun to drive though. Thanks for showing this trial. I'm looking for the others

I just did again one shot. Took my time. On the last rocky parti did left the crane anchors open… it help a lot. 🫡

Nice! Some these are very tough but nice to have them beat! I wouldn’t mind if they added 1 or something with each season for another thing to do if you beat it.
