The only way that happens is if we pick up 5 or 6 injuries which includes Virg Mo Salah Diaz and the Jewel Gravenberch. Arne coming in and making Ryan irreplaceable was a masterstroke. Diaz can play across the whole frontline and Virgil is playing at an imperious level. Even then I've seen us play so many different ways this season that i still think Slot would find a way to get the results needed to win the league. I have a feeling we'll run away with it by the end of February. The team is so good

Slot inherited a great culture and a very good team - not a great team . It was a team that overachieved despite injuries and some talent gaps. Salah was a bit unhappy at season end, Trent was a bit of a defensive liability. Gravenberch and Gakpo were bang average, Nunez was below average. Slot could have taken this top 4 team and no one would have blamed him if he dropped off and finished 5th/6th. We would have been happy if he finished 3rd/4th in his first season.
