the (slow) beginning of summer | vlog

More talk here: How are you doing lately? I hope the beginning of summer is kind to you. I'm really grateful you're here.
I haven't been up to too much besides work and lazy days at home, sometimes meeting friends and trying to get back into old hobbies that used to bring me a lot of calmness in my chaotic routines.
❓ Do you have any specific routine you wish to introduce to your lifestyle this summer?
I've been struggling lately with balance, I think that's what I lack and what makes me feel all over the place, and sometimes even these slow days don't feel completely healing, because it's hard to disconnect from work (since it's social media) or from other life stuff. But at least the beginning of summer was alright, I wish I had vlogged more of it to look back to these beautiful memories. It's already hot outside, and Korea gets very humid in summer - as I mentioned, we planned to visit Jeju (a little island south of South Korea), but the monsoon season decided to start earlier there, so we canceled and we're heading somewhere else. Even now, as I'm writing this, I'm preparing our backpacks for the trip. I hope to vlog there, too. But we'll see, all I know is that I want to be present, but I also want to be able to look back and have a video to return to.
Also, despite dealing with this burnout for months now, I love capturing these moments, so I can't promise myself to not take out the phone and, well, capture the moment.
Anyway, I don't have expectations for this summer, but I hope it will be a decent one. And I hope yours will be as well - peaceful or full of adventures, what your heart needs.
