Something to note about Kung Lao's EX teleport in MK9 is that a glitch makes it so that you keep the armor after he lands from the teleport. So you can start or continue your pressure with armor after doing EX teleport (almost) guaranteed. That's why people use it so often.

I can't believe you didn't add Predator's self destruct. Not only do you have to wait a second for it to start up, you have to wait for it to go off too. That's several seconds.

Nah, Predator’s SD likely gets a pass cuz it’s less of a “move” and more of a setup if that makes sense? Like you can activate it at a range, go in for a combo, then mid combo the SD blows up and you get a continuation. I highly recommend looking up some Predator Self Destruct combos if you haven’t seen them/played him before cuz they’re super stylish

Remember 60 frames is 1 second. Dudes saying moves that is less than 1 second is slow. Fighting games are so crazy.

That's because any move slower than 15-16 frames is entirely reactable.

I mean, the other guy is watching you intently because they want to beat you. And their finger is already on a button they can press to do another move that has a startup that is way faster then a second to interrupt you. Most moves are a lot longer then a second, but people mostly care about the startup since that determine who hits first.

Hey Underdawg. Something I’d like to add to Tremor’s Rock Drop is that if you’re using the Metallic Variation with Lava Skin, then it does become unblockable.

I love how the acid magic lizard slime ball is still slower than a bullet. Stryker's Gun Shot will trigger hit upon casting. It's actually the fastest projectile because it doesn't actually have a projectile traveling to the opponent. It's just the bang bang noises from the gun and the opponent getting hit by something.

For sub zero in mk9 his slow move was actually pretty useful for me , i used it when i froze someone on the ground n waited just a bit for the affect to end and do it right before it , Worked pretty great

Slow attacks have to be used in strategy. Reptile for example, while you are trying to pressure your opponent, that slow ball is another thing they have to try to avoid while you have the time to keep attacking

Shao Kahn's debuffs is so weird considering Shang Tsung had the same debuffs but can activate them pretty safely, they're not incredibly fast but much faster than Shao and his keepaway is good enough to consistently debuffs them

i was demi god in almost every season until i quit the game but my main was shao kanh with anhilate taunts and seeker hammer (the one throwed backwards) and with the right setup and the damage debuff it will make the punish just a waste of bars for the opponent
