So good!! Such wonderful preaching of the Word which is hard to come by anymore. I pray it soaks down deep in me as I consider anything in me that is sluggish or unfruitful.

Thanks for sharing. We need to hear more of what is hard to listen to. The truth hurts, but will we be falsely flattered instead? The wise and foolish virgins both slept and slumbered. They both were awakened by the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. Will we hide among the trees of the garden because of fear that we ate the fruit of the sinful flesh? Do we walk after the Spirit or the sinful desires of the flesh? What fruit do you feed on? Is it hatred, anger, unforgiving, líes, sexual desire that is sinful, laziness, living to eat instead of eating to live, gossip, or backbiting or drunkenness? This is what it means to take from the forbidden tree and eat. If we live after the flesh, we will die, but if, by the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the flesh, we will live. Romans 8.
