I like building in the apartments themselves rather than the entire building. More hidden and you can fit loads of gates in.

Cool for just vanilla assets. Would make more sense to thin down 2 buildings though to beef up one to store loot more securely.

Wait its 12 grenades per gate? I've been trying to read up on base destruction and all I can find on reddit is something like 5-6 grenades depending on wood and sheet metal. Is it because its stronger on modded?

@@camcantrun wow that's amazing, all the stuff I'd seen must have been quite outdated then. Side note, I've just gotten into DayZ after SA's release year (gap until now) and have been binging all of your videos the most out of all the creators I've seen. Thanks for your content. I feel a little bit more confident in my friend and I's little shed base with 2 walls now then. The server reset opening random doors messes with our hiding a bit, but at least we don't have to worry that much about grenades unless someone really has a ton! We tried to space the walls out to prevent splash damage through the gap as well since I read if you are within a few metres it can destroy both walls.
