The other reason that they included the power supply is because the custom power supple supports the wireless charging up top for your phone. If you do change the power supply you won't be able to use the wireless charger.

I agree. InWin A1 Plus is very good case and the price is right considering everything comes with the case. I was looking into original A1 but people complained about PSU and wireless charger. This case has double power wireless charger and gold rated PSU which is not cheap. I own InWin Chopin and I love this case. I will diffidently go for A1 Plus. By the way do not be too sad about thumbs down. Your review is professional and some people are just jealous.

I just built my new pc in this case. Unfortunately the power supply couldn’t handle the load and kept shutting down under gaming load. I replaced the power supply with a sf600 and haven’t had a problem since. That says a lot about the quality of the power supply that comes with them. My specs InWin A1 Plus Ryzen 7 3700x Asus strix b450i 16gb Corsair ddr4 3200 Wd 1tb m.2 2tb seagate firecuda Added 2 Noctua 120mm fans on the bottom EVGA RTX 2080ti black If you plan on building a system with similar specs plan on adding the cost of a new power supply and losing the built in Qi charger. On a positive note, you get added space above the power supply to tuck you cables.
@TechSavvyBuyer5 жыл бұрын
That os interesting. You should follow up with inwin in regards to the quality of the PSU. I haven't had issues. Considering you got 600 instead of 650 there must have been a defect in it or something. Nice build Btw!

nice case. i think this is good upgrade from original A1. The updated wireless charger and PSU makes difference. it is well worth the price. I like this case, but it was a tedious to build in. I don't know how he did it but I could not mount the wraith max cooler before mounting the motherboard to the case. It's just very tight with no room to maneuver. Other than that great case, and the pricetag is reasonable. The A1 plus is a massive upgrade over the A1. Qi is now 10w, PSU is now 80 plus gold instead of the bronze on the original A1. They include 2 nice RGB fans from zero on the A1, and the RGB LED lighting is much better as well.
@TechSavvyBuyer5 жыл бұрын
I couldn't install that cooler with the board in the case lol. Once out it's easy to get yeh screw holes lined up. I pretty much did most of the build outside the case then transplanted it in. Not easy that's for sure but very rewarding once done

Great build! I'm eyeing on this case. The problem is that I don't know if my GPU will fit the case. I have a Palit GTX 1080 Ti Super Jetstream and its thickness measures to a fat 58mm. May I know if your GPU still has clearance between the bottom of the case? I did some research and learned that the Powercolor Radeon RX590 Red Devil you used measures at 57mm. I'm curious to how much clearance does it still have and if that 1mm difference would still let me fit the card. Looking forward to your response. Thanks!

Your gpu will not fit. The red devil is so thick that the fan shroud touches the bottom and I had to Jimmy it up with a small piece of plastic. You will need a thinner gpu. It's a bummer I know 😔

So the original A1 is now $135 on Amazon. Do you feel that the improvements are worth $65 more for the A1 Plus? Two RGB fans, a better 10W Qi charger, PSU is 50 more watts and Gold rated. After writing it down, the list of improvements actually seem to be worth the extra $65. And you can't get the original A1 in black for $135.
@TechSavvyBuyer5 жыл бұрын
They are worth it for sure. Go for the a1 plus. Case is, great
@RojasTKD75 жыл бұрын
Just read the comments from another poster about the included power supply shutting down under load, an issue (along with noise) also experienced by some with the original. If you have to swap the PSU due to powerful components, then it not worth it. I went with the Original for $135 as I plan to upgrade the PSU to a 750W SFX PSU, don't care about the wireless charger and already have enough spare fans for the build.
