For those who found your phone running too hot using this charger: Check your room temperature. Qi2 will generate a lot of heat, and charging at 25℃ is different from charging at 30℃. You should always avoid using any kind of wireless charging when the room temperature is already high, because the base temperature of your phone is already high. Personally, whenever I use this charger, I use a desk fan to blow at my phone and the charger to prevent it from getting too warm. But if it’s >27℃ already I wouldn’t use any wireless charger at all.

how powerful of a brick do you need to power this? cool size but for travel, wireless feels so unneeded if i still need to bring a brick.

Would love to see a review on the Zeera MagTri Qi2 charger. Just got mine a couple days ago and it feels and looks great. The only complaint i have is that it doesn’t seem to work with all usb c cables. I’ve tried with like 5 diff cables and it didn’t work with the Anker one and Jsaux. It does work with the original one (like 3ft 😔) and Apple and Ugreen. Customer service says it’s something to do with “the fact that not all USB-C cables support the same charging protocols. Additionally, the internal pin configuration and contact length can vary between different cables, which can affect charging performance.” 🤷‍♂️

I've had mine for 2 months and it's perfect. Maybe you got a faulty product. Been buying Ugreen products since last year and I've never once experienced any anomalies from them.

That’s the reality of Qi2, especially you use your phone when charging with Qi 2. I use this thing with a fan blowing at my phone so it wouldn’t overheat.

Also, check your room temperature, it will affect your phone’s temperature. Wireless charging generates a lot of heat, and heat will build upon on your phone.
