Please pray for my son Ethan. He needs the goodness and mercy of God. He came back home from being homeless and his mind wasn't right. I don't know if it was mental illness but he's in trouble now. I pray that he is healed mentally and spiritually and is restored to us, his family. It has been the heartbreak of my life. When he was a boy he was so passionate and excited about his life but he felt hurt from his father. I pray that God will heal his life, in Jesus name amen.

I've always seen myself as the black sheep. Raised in foster care in my early 20s, I was severally mentally ill. My foster parents wouldn't help me and instead allowed me to be homeless. I moved from state to state, sick, and hurting. My biological grandma died, and my biological family wouldn't let me be a part of the funeral. I hurt for 3 years. No contact with my family. I hurt. I recently got in touch with my fav. Aunt and bought her son a pair of sneakers not because I wanted anything, but bc that little boy now a young man stole my heart when he was 4. I missed him the most. I know we don't talk, but I didn't want him to feel forgotten. I recently graduated from college. I mailed my foster parents tickets for my graduation this May 2020 and a letter of apology stating, "I forgave them" I realized being homeless was a blessing. I'm more stable than ever. In recovery from my mental illness. I really want to thank Pastor Joel and the team. I watch weekly and daily from Connecticut. I tithe to Lakewood because that is where I am being fed. Giving and forgiving brought so much closure. I felt so much alive. I'm on my way to graduate school to start a program for youth in foster aging out and needing skills and support to make it. I would have never known this was my calling if I wasn't kicked out. Thank you, Pastor Joel, Pastor Victoria, Pastor Gray, Pastor Lisa, Pastor Phil, Pastor Jeremy, Pastor Paul M.D in one year, my life changed through your programs and services. I have more joy, and even though I sin, I get back up a lot faster with the faith of God. I'm reading my bible, and it's the best book ever written. I love it. I want to give back to both of my families how, idk. But I pray God opens the door. I want to reach millions of youth so too they can give back and have faith in themselves. This sermon hits home. I was raised in a dysfunctional family were bullying took place. My older sister married a lawyer and got a college education. I married a cabinetmaker with a high school diploma. She enjoyed looking down her nose at me and she enjoyed the favor of our parents. She would talk about my husband and I like we were pathetic and the black sheep of the family simply because we weren't affluent like she and her husband. It was painful to see my parents celebrate her and not see how cruel she was. My parents never stood up for me. I felt unloved until God made Himself known to me. I don't see my sister anymore. She hasn't changed but I have. God changed me and taught me that I am Loved. He also taught me to forgive and be kind. I don't have to allow someone to harm me. I have the right to protect myself but I have to forgive and let the offense go. I was a depressed person with no wisdom or direction, no hope. I never returned evil for evil. I swallowed all the negative things spoken over me. Now, thanks to God, I have purpose, I serve in my church, I'm no longer afraid of people!!!! I live my life as a Child of the Most High God. I have Victory through Christ Jesus. I hope this encourages someone. You do not have to be a victim. Let go and Let God heal your hurts. He is an Expert at it!!!!

My heavenly father is the one who comforts me always with His word. Just two days back I was terribly cheated by my own and I cried about it with my hubby and friend for not wanting to avenge but unable to digest and understand why it happened so. Though I wanted to let it go forever, thoughts of betrayal was coming back to me. Yesterday I listened to Joseph Prince and did what he said by taking all those hurts in my hand and casting it on to Jesus because He cares for me. I felt totally relived after that. Yes Thank You Brother Joel Osteen Today I was at what we call Hope Rally fellowship, before going there I felt pain and heaviness on my chest carrying a weight. A curse because of a disagreement earlier in the day. And many other family members disappointed in me and we're cursing me. So I just sat there in his presence God Almighty's Jesus Christ Holy Spirit. Then one of the ladies came and prayed for me I told her what happened about the disagreement earlier with a family member and others too. Asked if I forgiven them I said yes but I probably didn't quite forgive most of them. She also spoke to me about forgiving because of our Father God Almighty in Heaven forgives Us. And if we can't forgive them when we ask he won't forgive Us. So I said it out aloud I Forgive Them That instant the weight was lifted off. Then I felt that smile of God Almighty come on over me in Jesus Christ precious and Mighty Name Amen 🙏😇🕊️💝🌿

Paster Joel thank you..I only wish I heard this sermon 3 weeks ago when I was put up for redundancy by my manager. I knew she always wanted to take over my role but I was in that position before she moved into my dept. So she took the opportunity to let me go. But first wanted me to work 4 weeks notice and write procedures on how to do my job. So I refused took my bag and left as I was so angry and disappointed. She lied to head office in New Zealand that she was doing what I was doing to make herself look good. So i felt that why should I teach her and make it easy for her but now after listening to your sermon I realise I should have had Gods smile and given her notes on how to do my job. I humbly ask for forgiveness in Jesus name. Amen🙏

I needed this cause the devil is always around and I'm still believing in God even and still smiling even when it's hard. My husband says mean things stepchild but our granddaughter that I adopted is really sweet and I keep the Faith and pray for all my kid's. Even coworkers talk badly behind my back but I keep the Faith and my God has never let me down. I listen to Joel everyday and pray to my heavenly father and keep smiling and working. I was promoted and the coworker is working under me but I keep the Faith and keep smiling and work. I have learned no matter what you go through in life and like Joel says it's a test and I have been tested to get where I am today. I grew up without parents but I forgave them and talk to them today. Then I lost my daughter in 2000 and oh did my life change forever. God was my guidance no counselor just my father in heaven. Now married for the 2nd time and my husband has said terrible things about me and its not all his fault but I never say negative towards him or called him bad things no matter if I or him done each other wrong I'm still praying and love my husband but he says that he hates me. I’m praying for forgiveness to a friend I might have hurt. Right now he is so mad at me and I’m so sorrowful I been praying that God lay it on his heart to forgive me and talk to me again. We were such good friends and I miss him so much I’m sure he thinks I don’t deserve it but I’ve been praying and working on myself to be better and I’m asking God will lay his hands on him to forgive him and help me not to make the same mistakes again if given another chance I’m a work in progress and that I can admit. I’m just praying the Holy Spirit my comforter will comfort me if it doesn’t work out but I have faith in Jesus Christ my messiah that he can workout anything in his time and will and I claim he will fix me and his friendship and it will be better than ever we will have better communication this time and heal from what was broken and take the pieces and build back up fresh and new in Jesus name I pray amen !!!

The only mercy I could offer my sister was detachment. She has been a toxic alcoholic for many years, maybe 20, and I have shown compassion and love and I was always there for her. I guess I could say it was like an addiction I had wanting to help her. I became ill, back aches, skin rashes, horrible nightmares every night, heartburn, vomiting every other day, depression, lethargy, extreme sadness. She was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at the extreme ends of the spectrum. I finally woke up, I read the 12 steps and the Big Book which helped, but once I detached my self within a week all my illnesses went away and I started seeing the world with joy and laughter again. I have forgiven her and will always love her, but sometimes you have to stay away from toxic people, they only bring you down. I do "get" your message and appreciate your heartfelt words. You are a good man and your other messages have actually helped me through this process.
